Quick shoutout to Ricard, anytime you have a 16 year old contributing with multi point efforts in the playoffs it bodes well for his future in the league. Could see him being a big contributor for next year and beyond. This experience is definitely doing wonders for his growth as a player, learning what it takes to win in the playoffs, etc. Especially in a game without a veteran leader. To see a 16yr old step up and produce is huge.

You think along the lines of a Cataford .......they are going through a dismantling and it has already started .......I am asking for the High Pick "and" Murphy ( knowing he will most likely have no issues with going to another Maritime Team ) . There will be casualties, there has to be. I don't think Ricard is going anywhere for the next 2 seasons.

This team is absolutely firing on all cylinders. Ruccia is having a hell of a playoff run. They continue to be a fun team to watch.
The atmosphere at Centre 200 looks amazing! Nice to see the support and everyone enjoying it.

Easy there guy when bringing the attack on hockey acumen or contributions. Your contributions to game talk is “refs did well, nice tip in”. Any trained monkey could come up with this. There are people that stopped going completely for almost 20 years. Like fell off the earth bad. You can normalize it, but it is cringe. Yes, we're commenting on the game. We're all watching it. Nothing controversial is happening. So yes we're talking about the subtleties of the game. I know how used to bashing the officials we are after a loss so when they were literally shone in a gigantic spotlight in a 1 goal playoff game in the 3rd period and make the proper call yes I am going to talk about it. Just like the impressive as hell 16yr old kid they have on their blueline. Would you rather me be more "OMG did anyone even SEE that Squires goal where he drove to the net and showed patience and outwaited the D before putting it by Delafontaine?" I just assumed everyone seen the same 1 goal in the 1-0 game. But what content are you even trying to provide about the games you're not watching? There are people who still haven't gone in 20 years. There are people who took 10 years off. Some haven't gone since Covid. Some are brand new and have no clue about any history and don't care. I guess the crowd in Halifax have been the same 7000 people for 30 years. Minus that 2008-2011 or so period where Halifax support also fell off the map due to poor management decisions. What are you even trying to accomplish at this point? That your best shit disturbing days are 20 years behind you? We know that already, Guru. There you go giving a good back and forth with examples, but mentioning a tip is trite. What how Citrus and statsman comment on the game. That isn’t you at all. I went to games during the down period of the Mooseheads, not many of course. There was no over 15 year absence from me. You can disagree, which is fine. I am open to changing my view if people were just staying away in protest. What you are unable to do is have a discussion without insults. How many people have you called a moron? How many people have you bullied? You even bully a bully in statsman, lol. I can’t speak for the poster you mentioned, but from what I can tell you have been the same stomping on people for years. For whatever reason you want to hang on to a prime of being overly aggressive with people. Look at your silly back and forth with that bomber guy last week. You could have just let it go, but for some reason you wanted to continue to stomp the guy out, you could have at least kept it to one line and moved on. I would say the criticism you have taken on here is on the level of statsman. The guy that always wants to be the smartest in the room is usually the most mediocre, or so they say. I provided a take and you wanted to turn it into a pissing match. You can’t help yourself man! Grow up. As far as what I offer? I don’t know if I offer much. Happy? I have a way of participating, and really, it is harmless.

61 listed on the lineup card tonight, fingers crossed he isn't the last scratch again tonight.

What is the buzz like in the community? For those that don't work remotely, any water cooler talk about the Eagles?

Not a huge fan of breaking up Romeo/Roy/Lavallee line, team isn't playing to what they're capable of tonight defensively.
Some fatigue is to be expected though in these intense back to back playoff road games. Lets close this out.

Newcombe is hitting another level, he’s a force out there right now. 9 points in the past 4 periods is video game type stats.

Some fatigue is to be expected though in these intense back to back playoff road games. Let’s close this out. That line has had success for sure. Romeo is a big heavy player that posses a great shot and good finishing. With Fullerton back and healthy this allows the team to put more scoring potential in the top 6. Gives Burbidge and Houde someone to create space and protection too. Can’t say Aucoin was better top 6 choice than Romeo. No chance. He’s back on the NHL central scouting list for a reason. My opinion, top 6 are a threat every time, especially top line tonight. 4th line keeps things neutral this is a good line up.

Zero doubt that any of those 3 guys would be deserving of a promotion to the next line up, but I just really like their chemistry and passing, they show alot of trust in each other every time they're on the ice. Lavallee and Roy haven't shown that same effectiveness tonight. Although the team is up by 3 and showing that I am in no way, shape or form qualified to coach hockey on any level😅😅

For the longest time this board was essentially talking eternally about how the sky was falling. Is there any buzz now? Almost 10000 tickets sold in the last two games. Safe to say there's a bit of buzz around town.
