Is Cisse definitely not coming? There were rumours on the boards a couple of weeks ago that he had decided to first try the US route, leaving the door open to the Cats in the future if things did not work out as planned. Someone posted a link to some Facebook site where he allegedly indicated he wasn't going to be present for the season opener (along with a handful of other players, so take it for what it is worth). Subsequent to that, an article in the T & T quoted Flynn as saying they did not yet have an answer from Cisse, but remained hopeful he would report.

I watched the guys play some hockey last night at the 4 plex...It was nice to see Mangan, Morehouse and Gaudet out playing again....Dimitrik is here so I guess that means he might be staying. lol..He was paired with Boyle last night.... The player that was pretty impressive last night was Stevens...He is moving the puck really well....Quite a few players still missing but it great seeing some of the boys out....Cant wait till Friday...Let the games begin!!!! Flynn did say in an interview last year that Everyone would be impressed with Stevens developpement come december of 08. I guess this is starting to pan out. I remember him having good stickhandling skills but I think his big downfall was strengh. I can see him being a very decent placent player this year.

From Tuesday's T&T
"Moncton will open training camp on Friday at the Tim Hortons 4-Ice Centre with intrasquad scrimmages from 9-11 a.m. and 6:30-8:30 p.m. The players will show up on Thursday for registration, physical fitness testing, orientation meetings and school counselling."
Also, no Cisse.

Wildcats confirmed yesterday that Cisse won't be attending camp.
