It's such a shame we only get to see you all twice this year here in Lewiston. We looked forward to good, close, tight games.
In 24 games over the last three years, 15 of the games between Lewiston and Moncton have been decided by one goal (one with an empty-netter to make it 2) and seven of those have been in a shootout.
Those are some great games, and have been for three years.
Great start to the season for Moncton, and Lewy gets back all but one of its players this weekend, too. Should be fun!

I always regarded Lewiston as one of the most boring teams to come to town ... the games were never very exciting.

The game you're thinking about occurred 3 years ago, the Cats were leading 5-0 in the 2nd and Blanchard got hurt and allowed 2 goals before being replaced by Blouin in the 3rd who was so awful that night allowing 4 goals on 13 shots. Cats lost 6-5 The game MikeC mentions was 2 years ago. a 9-8 win in a shootout that was back and forth. The Cats scored all 9 goals on Bernier. Earlier the same fall, the Cats had won 7-6 against the Maineiacs again 7 goals against Bernier. The Cats seemed to always have Bernier's number. Delmas is a complete other story.

Which player is still at pro camp? Max Gratchev is still with the Isles... Paquette, Delmas and Reul all came back this week... I don't know about you, but I count any game in which either team has a legit chance to win it in the last 5 minutes exciting, regardless of style, and 15 times in the last 24 meetings, that's been the case...

In any case maineiac333, thanks for the neighbourly welcome. Our team is looking much better this year so it should be fun to watch.

Famin won't be in the lineup due to Visa issues, he can't leave Canada to travel to the US.

I thought I saw on sportsnet last night that Gratchev had been assigned to their AHL affiliate.

Famin won't be in the lineup due to Visa issues, he can't leave Canada to travel to the US. Not only that, if they cannot fix this by Christmas, he may be spending Christmas with his billets, or risk not being allowed back in Canada (at least until he gets another visa. The problem isn't leaving Canada, it's getting back in as he only has a single entry visa.

I don't think too many Q hockey players are terrorists.
