Cats host Victoriaville at the Coliseum on Friday night. Domingue will be getting his first start of his Q career.
The Wildcats will be holding their "Pink in the Rink" fundraiser, along with Sunday's game. The Cats will be wearing special edition jerseys and other pink equipment and there will be a silent auction for those who want to bid on the items.

Will they be wearing the pink jerseys for the entire game or just for the warm up as the Sea Dogs had done last year?

According to Today's T & T...
Cat Tracks
From the Wildcats medical clinic: Forward Jesse Biduke (sore wrist) is probable for Friday's game. Forward Devon MacAusland (groin) is doubtful for Friday. Forwards Zach Sill (broken thumb) and Andrew Roski (shoulder) will miss the next two games. Sill will be re-evaluated on Monday with a targeted return on Oct. 22 and Roski is expected to miss two weeks.
It would be nice to have Biduke back in the lineup... I'll agree Domingue should get his 1st Q start. Cats 4-3

Looking forward to seeing what Domingue can do. First Q game. Hopefully he can get rid of the nervousness rather quick.

Barberio was a warrior out there tonight! Almost played the whole 5 minute major and overtime. I think he was one of the very few bright spots out there tonight. Lessard also had a great game considering how the rest of the team played. IMO we totally stole that point tonight, did not deserve it but will not complain that we got it haha

what was all the fuss over at the very end, to me it seemed very clear, Dominque failed to play the puck and let the other player just take and wrap around end of story. Its too bad he played pretty good , kept us in it thru 2 and we showed some life in the 3rd, only to have it end like that.

I believe they were complaining (what I got from the webcast) is that after the whistle it should have reverted back to 4 on 3, and not stay 5 on 4.
But, I couldn't make anything out from the color commentary bitching about the officiating all night. Who the hell is he? (Not Frank or Les). He knows jack shit about hockey.

Can somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe after the 1st PP expired and the 1st stoppage of play, there should have been 4 players on the ice for Moncton and 3 for Victo instead of 5 against 4.

The puck basically stopped just before coming out of the area where the goalie can't play the puck. It would have been better if he took the penalty.

I thought the Stephens, Bissonette and Pettersson line looked really good on the PP. Oh well, stole a point and on to the next game.

He should have reached the puck first but he just stopped skating and Devos blew by him

That's my understanding of the rule. This must be why the Cats were upset, that extra guy made a difference in the outcome of the game. Had it been 4 on 3, the PKers may have peeled off instead of one pursuing the puck while the others changed.

You're right - at the first stoppage in play, it should have reverted to a 4 on 3 for Moncton. However, Moncton should have complained at the time of the faceoff, not after the goal.

On another note... it was discussed at the game that rookie referees should always be paired up with a referee with more experience...
