The only big move that I could see making sense for the Cats is adding a high end 20 year old defenseman ... I think we are thin on the blueline, not so much right now, but if we have any injuries whatsoever we don't really have a 7th guy who you would want to see on the ice each game ... Who are the top 20 year old d-men? Paris is one ... who else? Maybe dangle our first or a second round pick, plus either a non-roster prospect (O'Brien? Daoust? Downe?) and/or a 20 year old at the draft (whichever of the Cameron/Brannon/Lessard trio we decide is not going to be in our plans for next year). For that matter, what would M-A Bourdon cost? Would our 1st plus Daoust plus say Lessard at the draft do it? Given the Cats current situation, I think the smart move would be to add a Rioux/Mallette type and move Leahy and Biduke. Even with one less 20 year old forward you still have 3 pretty solid lines(Brown MacAusland Famin Eagles Sill Brannon Lessard Cameron Stephens) plus Petterson/Bissonnette/Lane/Roski on the 4th. I don't think MA Bourdon would be worth the cost right now...unless they were 100% sure he was back at 20.

I think Bourdon is gonna cost alot .. probably the biggest prize available this year at the deadline Is there even another 19 year old dman who could compare to him that would be available??? Anybody know anything about Dominic Jalbert? 19 y/o d-man with Chicoutimi, PPG ... might be available? If 19 year olds are too pricey, I think the Cats could be in the market for a 20 year old ... I don't think it would take much to upgrade on Lahey ... Pierre-Luc Lessard, Sebastien Rioux or Benoit Gervais perhaps?

When Sauve's 19, they might trade him at Deadline, but would take in my opinion 1 or 2 very good young players and 1st round pick and maybe more

Quebec has been offering a combination of Carrier, Audette, Trudeau plus picks. Olivier Daoust isnt on that level.

Played well. But then he was cut at 18 and went to play Jr AAA and CHI re-called him half way through the season and then all of a sudden this year he is exploding offensively. He isnt a flashy player by any means but he is piling up the points.

Maxime Mallette will be available. He's better than what he showed this year. Maybe on a contending team, he'll play like he can. I could see Mallette being a pretty good addition to Moncton for a second pick or a above average 18 Y.O.

I think he best trade this year could be the one that never happened, these kids are just do fine let them mature and grow and see what we need next year, like everyone said this is not our year, just the thought of trading Bissonnette makes be sick I think this kid has the potenical to be a 100 point man. Just my opinion

Just my opinion This isn't our big year so we won't be making any major deals that involve Bissonnette. We may very well tinker with the roster but nothing that involves mortgaging the future.

Jalbert is horrible in his own zone.
I don't think you should take a look at his stats.
He gives a lot of giveaway, isn't physical.
Tho he has a nice offensive upside.
