Well, the Cats let that win slip away from them. We got a point, but the way things were going, two points were definitely expected. They'll get a learning lesson out of this one.. it's not over until the final whistle blows. How did they call that SO goal a goal? On the webcast, it was obvious the ouck was stopped.

I watched the webcast, and no way could a viewer "obviously" tell it was not a goal. What you could see on the cast, was the Ref right by the net wave it in......... Just because the commentary guy got all flustered over it means squat.......

Obviously Riopel slid into the net and the puck was under him they reviewed it but the ref was right there and had a much better view then a webcast view. SJ collapsed in the 2nd and Moncton collapsed in the 3rd

The cats have to keep attacking no matter how big a lead they have. They just do not have the team to sit back and protect a lead.

Well said, It's not like the Memorial Cup team that could play the way Moncton played tonight in 3rd and get away with it. Not this year' team, effort for 60 mins, not 40 mins.

I think the Dogs also deserve credit for not giving up they could have folded the tent after a rough 2nd periood but they worked their asses off and earned 2 big points.

a few observations about tonight as we made the trip to the game
1. brannon broke his nose last night and i saw him at the game and his one eye was blue and swollen shut.
2. Roski had a great game against titan and should be in the lineup instead of Lane.
3. Famin has great hands around the net but never passes on a 3-2 or 2-1. he always looks to shoot and it might have cost us two goals tonight
4. rio struggled with rebounds tonight...he continues to make great saves in the shootout.
5. baberio was awesome in the shootout last year. Danny needs to get him out there.
6. put lahey on the second PP unit ahead of Pettersen.
Wish we had the Habour station in Moncton.
Got to win a game like that tonight but take the point and regroup for next week.

Maybe that's why Famin plays 4th line and virtually no PP...but his 10 goals there are great.

5-2 Cats after 2. no Brannon tonight, wonder if it's from the hit he received last night? Anyone know? Also, Boyle hurt in 2nd period and didn't return, I wonder if he'll be in on the ice in 3rd... From what I heard, Brannon suffered a broken nose and bruised eye last night, but was still planning on playing today...unfortunately, he woke up with his eye swollen shut, making him a no-go...

ROSKI should definately be in the lineup after the game he had against le titan, LANE should be put on waivers, and BISSONNETTE should be playing with guys that can finish! the first pp stays on way too long, 0-5 vs titan i believe! LAHEY is a 4th line guy at best, FAMIN needs to learn to pass the puck!! but its hard to say all of this with the cats tremendous record so far!!
