I dont mind the fact Halifax dealt Cheremetiev, but they got hosed... Leduc and Stinziani are no better than Cheremetiev and they both fetched a 3rd pick straight up. Have no fear Lala, the 5th is coming back, if Cheremetiev is still in Bathurst on January 10th. Bathurst wanted some insurance in case he decided to leave shortly after arriving. Russell indicated that it has been a problem for Bathurst in keeping traded players. CHSB would refer to it as "having personal issues" . You can read about it in the Herald at: thechronicleherald.ca/Sports/1149159.html

The market was set at a 3rd rd pick, and although the demand for a 20 may have dropped slightly, there was no way swapping a 5th for a 3rd was a legit fair deal.

So Cam isn't and hasn't been a big fan of Yuri's since he took over, that's obvious, since he didn't even get a Letter as a 20 year old. Oh well, big deal. Cam shouldn't be a fan of himself, he is one of the worst coaches in Mooseheads history, and he didn't fair to well at the draft either. Might be able to cloak and dagger it for a bit with last year's pocks, but a majority of them , that the mooseheads and fans have high hopes for, will probably not even make the Q in the next 4 years. A good crew of decent Jr. A players, but thats about it. Huh??

Mike what is the Vlasanek thing you mentioned ? Halifax traded a 5th rd pick for Vlasanek but he left after 3 games...but BAT is sending Halifax a 6th rd pick as compensation. So Halifax will get BAT's 6th rd pick in 2010 (they actually dont have their own, they currently have LEW, BAC and VIC, with LEW and BAC picks being locked) for sure and than if Yuri stays past January deadline than they will get their own 5th in 2011 back.

Is is not getting any better for Cheremetiev in Bathurst. Last night he was -3, and in the penalty box for a 4th goal.
