Bored at work and surfing the web decided to check out Jonny Moore's twitter and it said there was a leak in the office between CB and Halifax. Trade maybe?

Yea, they look pretty cool.
I think it's a good idea. It will definitely get the passion and rivalry going again. The 2 teams haven't had that fire against each other the last few years, and so why not build something into the games to try and get the battle going again.

Do any thing to get the fans back in seats for these games won't work, the league has changed too much. no more Lewis-Ettenger battles at center ice. A Cape Breton - Halifax series is just another ho-hum game in this kindler, gentler Q.

A Cape Breton - Halifax series is just another ho-hum game in this kindler, gentler Q. Just because there is no Trevor Ettinger and Caryle Lewis in the league doesn't mean you still can't have a rivalry. Pretty sad when people give up on a rivalry all because 2 players don't play anymore. You can try another way to invoke hostilty between two teams without two heavyweights battling it out at centre ice. Those were fun times I agree, and the Battle of NS has lacked some punch the last fews years, but IMO this is a good start at trying to bring back some of that anger the teams have for one another. Can't hurt to try at least.

Hockey has changed in the past couple of years. Players are scared to fight like in the ''old'' days for fear of lenghthy suspensions, still the rivarlry between the two clubs can still be, but with none of the good old fights of yesteryear !
