Tremaine is off to a good start, 13 points in the first 4 games for Dartmouth. Did you ever hear anything on why he was such a quick cut from Cats camp? Did he play the 48 hour card? Nothing was ever really said about him, but he disappeared in the first wave of cuts ... |

Nothing was ever really said about him, but he disappeared in the first wave of cuts ... No idea and it kind of surprised me...actually it didnt 'kind of' surprise me, i was shocked. Before the draft he did say he had intentions of going back for another year of Midget but that he wanted to play in the Q. |

Some info on Cats prospects... Alex Gacek is out with an Ankle injury, taht's why he has not suited up for Indinana USHL. He’s under 6-feet and isn’t a great skater, but like other NHL scoring stars who have overcome size and mobility concerns in the past and present like Adam Oates and Marc Savard, Gacek has special instincts and that unquantifiable knack for finding the back of the net. He could develop into a special player in time. Samuel Roussy has picked up the pace for College Notre Dame MAAA He's now up to 3-5-8 in 18 games with 24 Pims...he is captain of the team(listed at 6'2" 221lbs). Mark Tremaine is second in NSMAAA scoring with 30 points in 17 game |

They will have to drop more than just the 1990 born players before the draft. Hrivik will go on the Special List until he returns. But I think they'll need at least 12 open slots for the draft. Howe might be dropped ... and if one or two new OAs are coming in then probably JM Leger. Probably see a few minor trades to move a few excess players.
