Gormley sent down again... when is he ever gonna crack the opening night lineup? He was playing well and a lot of pretty big minutes for them during the preseason. Most fans seemed to expect that he would make the team and had a good chance to play top 4. They're going to be terrible, I don't understand why they wouldn't give him a shot over marginal vets like Schlemko, Stone or even Smaby. I guess when the head coach says that Moss was the best winger on the team last year (better than Doan, Boedker, or Verbata) this type of decision making isn't that surprising. I sincerely hope Gormely is traded or is able to walk after this season to a different team |

Gormley sent down again... when is he ever gonna crack the opening night lineup? Pretty surprising after they said they were looking at giving him bigger minutes this year. He has 2 good years AHL under his belt, not much let to prove down there... |
