Barbashev is quietly having himself a very good season, on pace for 25 goals and 60 points… didn’t think he had this type of production in him after watching his past few seasons.

Is Louis Domingue the best goalie in Moncton Wildcats history? I vote Yes. Corey Crawford says hello Credit to Domingue, however, for carving out a decent pro career.

It was a tongue in cheek post meant to be an obvious exaggeration. I'm running on 4 hours of sleep and Domingue came in cold yesterday in overtime and shut the door for the Pens to get the win so at the moment he's my favorite Cats goalie of all time. Yesterday morning he wasn't in my top 5.

Is Louis Domingue the best goalie in Moncton Wildcats history? I vote Yes. Riopel and Crawford were much better.

Agreed Crawford #1
On a side note, Jordan Spence going from undrafted in 2017 to playing a regular shift in the NHL playoffs in the span of 4 seasons is pretty awesome.

There is an article in the Hockey News about Kabanov being reunited with his family who lived in Ukraine. His wife is from there and they were building a house, he plays in Denmark and the team owner helped get them out.

WC alumni CA Lavallee was the winning goalie on the QMJHL champion Cataractes team. Was Coulombe dealing with injuries or did he just have a bad series? It seemed pretty clear that he was the starter throughout the playoffs, but seems like Lavallee got more time in the final than pretty much the rest of the playoffs. Always seemed strange to me that Moncton traded Lavallee when they did.
