This ass obvy has no idea or even follow the Q. Other than SJ no one was in the right place. BC will be top 8 not 18th, Montreal will be bottom half easy (Armada). And the Moose will finish top 10. I'll leave it at that but I could go on. Wait for THN's or Palovs predictions, because they put some thought and effort into theirs.
This guy must love dope, cause he's on some with this predictions.

Blame the guy who linked it on here.... reesor, if you couldn't tell that blog was complete garbage, I don't know what to tell you man. Take a second before linking crap like that. That dude certainly doesn't deserve the hits to his site. Well everyone's entitled to their opinion, regardless of how out to lunch they are (if they weren't I wouldn't be able to post on here. ;D). I just thought it was good for a laugh that's all. I'm not upset or anything. Just made me chuckle. Yes, everyone is entitled to their opinion. Your opinion was that was a blog worth sharing with everyone here. I disagree. Some things should be kept hidden away.

Blogs are for initiating discussion, so are these boards. We're discussing how awful that list is, and what we'd do differently. I'd make a list myself, but I'd be afraid mine would be just as bad as his. I can take a guess though. I know Baie Comeau has improved their team enough not to be ranked 18th out of 18 teams. Unless Boisbriand overachieves big time, I know they won't be ahead of Quebec or Shawinigan. But it all depends on whos 20yos don't make the pros. I don't think you can have any success in predicting the standings or the President's Cup winner when you have no idea what the rosters will look like. As mentioned, I'll wait for THN or Palov's lists later when things are a bit more clear. Edit: You want another laugh? Look at this list: aroundtheq.blogspot.com/2011/08/2012-stanley-cup-predictions-are-in.htmlThat list should sum up how serious you should take the Q one.

(it did make me kind of smile too reesor) I definitely think you guys will be better than last year...that being said, a lot of the moves made were for 1-2 years down the road(MacKinnon Drouin) and may weaken the 11-12 team.

I'm hoping Grenier will replace Gelinas's output from last year and then some. Perhaps Hardie will be a suitable replacement for Desmarais as he's a similar player with more of an offensive upside. As we've said before, a more experienced back end will not eliminate all the defensive collapses of last year, but will definitely help lessen them. But you're right in that trading away Gelinas, Turbide and Desmarais will hurt short term. If MacKinnon matches Gelinas' output from last season (54 pts), I'd be very pleased.

Are you saying you dont think we will be as good this year as next year? Thats sort of the obvious plan here Yes its true while we have star power that is still too young to have a major impact, don`t forget many of our young guys are a year older too. Guys like Ashley, Frk, Andrews are now 18. Ashley/Frk should produce at pretty high levels. Ciampini and Ryan to lesser extents at 17 could see big improvement. Then we added Grenier as well. We have quality vets/energy/grinder guys as well to compliment the young guys. And of course we have 2 16 year olds that might be pretty good too. Its been discussed to death though so I wont keep going... because we dont even know how Ducharme will have them playing. At this point, we can only wait a couple more weeks till camps open to see what we really have in the making.

Ok, no worries, your original post just seemed more serious than your're making it out to be, but I digress. I'm just of the opinion that we shouldn't even waste our time debating the merits of some nobody's ridiculous blog post. Negative or not, it gives that individual attention which he/she does not deserve. It would be akin to me making a prediction of next year's standings in the Australian rugby league by looking at last years standings and making a couple of changes, and then a rugby fan from Australia finding it, and linking to it on one of their message boards. (ps. I know nothing about rugby lol)

Similar to the Rugby Union Premiership in England. ;D which changes little season on season. But's that's not the point obviously. It's different in sports between signings and drafts. But even taken into account players moving on and progrssion those predictions are horrid.

Told ya I knew nothing about rugby Rugby and Cricket are the 2 sports that I get confused about the rules. I do know that Canada is better at both than you'd think. We beat the USA in a friendly on Saturday. Leave it up to MooseTalk to turn a thread about how the Mooseheads will do this season, to a talk about Rugby. Next Wednesday can't come soon enough. ;D

See? Told ya I knew nothing about rugby Rugby and Cricket are the 2 sports that I get confused about the rules. I do know that Canada is better at both than you'd think. We beat the USA in a friendly on Saturday. Cricket wise you have the elite Test playing nations that you're nowhere near (England, India, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Australia, Pakistan, New Zealand, West Indies) then Bangladesh and Ireland and outside of that all of the ICC nations there is very little between them but Canada have always disappointed in the major tournaments. Very few "Canadians" play for the team too. Rugby Union's kind of similar too although Canada should be beating the US. Rugby though is kind of a vague description because there are two codes - Rugby Union and Rugby League and they are quite different. Don't know how they confuse you though, they are kinda simple sports. But getting back....... I'm really looking forward to next week. Pretty intrigued to see what the lines look like and the balance and too see the impact the rookies make. Hockey off season is too long!

Hockey off season is too long when you're a Moose fan. ;D Hopefully that'll change in the next couple seasons. I guess confusing is poor wording. I just don't follow those sports, so I'm unclear of the rules.

See? Told ya I knew nothing about rugby Leave it up to MooseTalk to turn a thread about how the Mooseheads will do this season, to a talk about Rugby. Next Wednesday can't come soon enough. ;D Forcing discussion when there's nothing to discuss inevitably leads to it going off topic. Case in point- talking about goalie gear in an Andrew Ryan thread. I understand the context, but the thread is no longer about Ryan lol.
