Lou, this is the Mooseheads Board, where they have consistently omitted the Titan in their grand scheme of things the whole season long.....nothing new there. Crazy Jo, what are you gonna say when your team gets hammered by the Titan this Friday? I am not gonna hijack this as it is a pure useless use of a topic by omitting the Titan...... Moose hunting starts this Friday! You were nearly below .500 6 weeks ago...excuse us for not taking you seriously up until now. What did you say after you lost 6-2 last week to Halifax? Oh thats right, you didnt post for a couple days.... You must have fallen blind if you did not read me

For us, it comes down to the final 4 games. A win tomorrow would help a ton to give us some breathing room for the 4 games at home against SNB and Lewy. I am thinking 3 out of 5 and were okay. Who ever thought the top 5 would be this close.

Or whomever plays the Sea Dogs ;D So whoever plays the seadogs has the best chance of an upset, ie...beating the seadogs? I believe that is the implication he is making. If the Seadogs fall to 3rd then I agree they will be extremely vulnerable to a so-called upset. If they can hang onto the 2nd spot they should be alright.

Wow, couple big upsets tonight, especially in RN. Who would have thought Drummondville could walk in there and win a game?? A night like tonight goes to show the say, "any team can beat any other team" definitely rings true. RN may well have just blown first place in the Telus. Which would really have served them well should they end up playing Halifax in the final. Reminds me of us last year - we lost twice to the Sea Dogs and once to the Fog Devils down the stretch, and those three losses really killed our chances of catching Lewiston for 1st place. Turned out that first place would have been the difference between playing Val d'or in the semifinals and playing a gassed and not even that great RN team.

Or whomever plays the Sea Dogs ;D So whoever plays the seadogs has the best chance of an upset, ie...beating the seadogs? The original comment was "I feel the biggest potential upset will be whomever plays Rimouski." In that regard, the biggest potential upset could be the series involving the Sea Dogs. They have been struggling as of late (4-4-2-0 in their last 10 games) Just my opinion.

I am not worried about Rimouski in fact let's play them first and get it over with also it would help us get more involved in the games by playing a Clem's team your doing to have to play to defeat them...

Moose hunting starts this Friday! bois was talking specifically about Gatineau and BC.... thats why the Titan werent analysed! The Titan offense was supposed to be this good, nobody is saying it isnt. We (at least I) have said the Titan could beat us in the playoffs. RN and the Titan are probably the two teams that worry me the most based on the kind of teams we have trouble with (although RN's goaltending is all over the map). Thats the big difference between moose fans and Titan fans these days... moose fans are constantly talking about improving on weak areas and admitting this team could go out in round 2, 3 or could even win the whole thing. We recognize areas that could bring us down. But some Titan fans are running around acting like their team just cannot be beat. This is why so many people want the Titan to fail and visit your board, because most fans of teams are pretty objective in terms of breaking down their teams chances, but you guys make new posts every day about how great you are and get insulted when people dont talk about you in a thread...

I am not at all insulted, but I can read and your fans in majority already see your team in 3rd round.....and facing only Western teams on the road to the final and finally face off a Western rival....
I fail to see the Titan envisioned in the way you describe your path, that's all.

No I was just saying that all year people have discounted Gatineau especially and Baie Comeau somewhat because they suggest they have no offensive depth When I looked at the stats .. Gatineau has scored at the same level as Halifax all year which surprised me so I thought I'd mention that.. and they've done so while missing their top players for stretches of time as well what other team could potentially boast 4 40 goal scorers this season? (i know it's not likely to happen but they will all come close) I agree Halifax should have a deeper offense than these teams.. but the reality is they haven't shown it for the most part

Obviously, while discussing hockey, the Moosehead fans choose to forget about the Titan in the last 2 playoff rounds heading to the Prez Cup....it is your prerogative, you are right on that.

The one team I see that could upset someone is St Johns, and even those guys will be a hard 2nd round. From round 2 on, it will be tough. The Telus is just as unpredictable, as VD and RIM will likely be the bottom 2 seeds and have the ability to beat the top teams. Gatineau probably gets Shawinigan in round 1 and that might the best opponent to have. And one of the big 3 will not make it past round 2 guaranteed. Round 3 any team can beat any team. And the intensity of those series will likely set up the league final results.
