I agree with everybody, has to be one of the worst if not the worst game I have seen at the CCC....Brutal. 3 shots in the first period, 3 damn shots...you can't win a hockey game that way. And coach why put Morrison on the point on the PP, it fucked ya twice....SJ scored two shorties while he was on the point....get it through your head it dont work. I aint blaming Lafleur for the loss, but IMO he shouldnt have played today....if u want him to play Friday fine but the kid just got back from camp where I am sure he worked his butt off...give him a game off...its only early on in the season u dont need to use him every single game already.

Also good to see Gallant get something for his actions......Match penalty for trying to chop Mains head off.....very stupid, and very dangerous. Cograts to Gallant though, for getting hie name in the stat sheet.............  |

Worst perfomance ever by a Rocket team so far? Certainly the worst home game in Charlottetown! Its hard to know where to begin in talking about the game. When that much goes wrong I think you gotta look at the direction or lack of direction being given. No one seemed to know where to go or what to do. The team was hemmed in its own end and floundering. All Jean did was mix the lines and add to the confusion out there. i actually thought about leaving early because i was disgusted!!i have never even thought of leaving early before,i am a diehart fan but something needs to change! Not sure why I stayed either, almost left after the second but stuck it out. |

Pathetic....simply pathetic. Saint John could do as they wished with the puck all game. I was considering leaving early also and I have never done that in my life. They were very disorganized, looked like they had no game plan and players looked like they were out of position because they didn't know where they should have been, just brutal. Morrison has played like shit the last 2 games, no effort at all and when he does give an effort he tries to do it all himself.
Jean has got to go, plain and simple. The Rocket will never win anything as long as that idiot is behind the bench. The Sea Dogs scored short handed because Morrison screwed up at the point and what does the genius behind the bench do, put him back out on the point again on the very next face-off. If something doesn't work, try to fix it don't do the same thing over again hoping it's going to work.
Brutal game to watch, nothing positive at all as far as the Rocket are concerned from that game.

We should have been saying bye to Jean during his first season when the Rocket went on that 13 (?) game winless streak. He was a shit coach then and he is still a shit coach who hasn't learn a single thing since he has been here. If Savard doesn't realize that, then we will never see a winning team here.

Why was Lafleur pulled from the game? Jean should of been pulled. We actually started to play with 7 mintues left in the game.
I gotta give credit to Clice, he does a good job serving penalties.

Not commenting on the game at all....other then it was probably the worst I've witnessed in a long time. I'll have to disagree with whomever said Lessard had a good game, didn't think he played well at all today, but he wasn't the only one on D that was bad, they all were. Not sure he earned a second star in my opinion, nor did a few others I talked to after the game, we really didn't deserve a start period.
Doyle needs to relax and be more disciplined, too many stupid penalities, even though he made up for some of it with 2 goals, still wasn't enough. Just not impressed at all today leaving the rink, hoping for a better show on Wednesday night.
I think the time has come to reacess the coaching situation. Someone mentioned after the game that they wouldn't be surprised if our new assistant was brought in to take over the head coaching job before the season ends!

The only positive thing about this game was that it ended.
I was disappointed with the teams effort tonite. Lot of the guys in my section were yelling the typical "Fire the coach", but all I can think was I wonder if I could trade my 2 season passes for a single flex pack, and refund the difference. Proabably would save myself and my wife a lot of grief!
I know a lot a people say it's only the second game of the season, but since we are only missing one person Latal, I do expect a better effort and result to follow. if you asked me Thursday, I would have expected to get at least 3 out of 4 points this weekend. But we have Zero so far. I ask Why? From my point of view, COACHING! The Rocket did not look ready physically, or mentally for these two match ups.

The managemnet of this organisation is a farce. I hope they have the sense to not complain about the fans!!!!
Crap promotions, no screens and tonight a new one...No hotdogs!!!! I couldn't beleive it, how hard is it to make sure there are a few packs of dogs in the canteen? And if there isn't any, well get someone off their ass and up to Nicks......What a joke!
There is no point complaining about the coaching because if Savrd is too blind to see it then there is no hope for this team. I personnally think the only reason he lasted after the first year was finanncial..

Well here is my review of the game and my experience of the CCC tonight.....
Started off in a positive mood heading to the rink, thought for sure the Rocket would win the game. I arrive to the rink and go talk to friends...Good old Garry Connolly makes and appearance and is handing out coupons to fans....gives a card like last years redemption card (10$ game at a Q rink), there are 4 of us standing there and Connolly gives it to the two ppl who A) take photos at the game and don't require a ticket cause they have a press pass and B) Organize the bus trips and also don't buy tickets (not picking on you ppl, just making a point) and Connolly knowing this then walks by the two girls who actually buy season tickets with a Sweet Fuck Off and no acknowledgement to us at all...Way to go Connolly, continue your less then stellar marketing of this team. Nice to take those coupons and just ignore the rest of us...
The game....oh lord can we just forget they played tonight....but wait....they didn't play until there was less then 5minutes of the game left....absolutely disgusting effort by almost everyone on the team tonight.....Walker was one of the only members of the team playing tonight and whether it was frustration regarding the team or just anger that got him to fight again can't say i blame him one little bit. Can't blame Antoine either, nothing like leaving your goalie out to dry.....Kana and Walker were the only two out there that didn't scare me to see on the ice. Southorn isn't having his best games and Doyle, seems that Gragani's attitude has been passed on...stay out of the god damn box, yes you got two goals, but your time in the box was costly. Morrison.....if you are gonna play, show up and play...you are one of the best players on the team but tonight you were nothing short of a liability on the ice.....
As i turned as yelled..."are you watching this Savard?"...i realized something.....i really don't think they care, they watch with little expression on their face, little voice of any sort of encouragement and well pretty much bored like the rest of us were watching the debacle tonight. No way in hell this team is top 4 in anything....unless you mean giving up shorthanded goals, taking penalties and having players showing up not playing.....waste of time today going to the rink....
Disorganized, undisciplined.....and just plain terrible....not a way you are going to fill any seats to watch this game, they'll be lucky to announce attendance at 2000 on Wednesday, hell i am thinking of not even going, and i love to watch the hockey, i know its early but the warning signs are there.....Fire the coach if he is gonna stand there and do nothing when that kind of display is put forth and put the players on warning if they aren't going to show up, they are gonna be shipped out......there are cycles in junior hockey....ours seems to be to lose.....

Both Connelly and Jean should be gone, IMO....
Wish we had of held out for an expansion team, would have had a better on ice product because of the PROFESSIONAL managment....
