As i turned as yelled..."are you watching this Savard?"...i realized something.....i really don't think they care, they watch with little expression on their face, little voice of any sort of encouragement and well pretty much bored like the rest of us were watching the debacle tonight. He was watching the Steelers game then switched over to the PGA Championship....... |

Walker is a disgrace too Walker was one of the only players out there tonight who worked...and i don't blame him if the reason he fought was to get the hell out of dodge....terrible game play by Rocket..... Dude..stop posting and go read the dictionary so you can figure out how to write! Kudo's to the Saint John Fans tho.....finally there to see their team win a game at the CCC! |

Jean is the real disgrace here..... Honestly, who gives a shit about Jean. It's not all his fault that no one on our team came to play. Fire him or whatever, I don't think it'll make a difference at this point. |

Speaking of Kana, did anyone else notice how it seemed like someone sicked him on Grant tonight? I swear he threw about 8 hits at Grant alone, a couple of good ones too. He was definetly getting under his skin.

I didnt realize at the time why Walker went at stich until someone between periods told me he had run Walker from behind so he took matters into his own hands .. not the right idea generally speaking but in a lacklustre game i guess better than nothing.. I knew he'd fight again in the 3rd tho.. tho it was really just a wrestlin match.. only Panters scrap was worth gettin excited about and as mentioned earlier it came way too late to really matter much.. will be interesting to see what happens next time these teams meet tho
anyways also thought MacLean played ok once the game was out of reach and Jean decided to use his bench a bit

I agree with everyone on their posts about how abysmall the Rocket were, and I also agree that walker and Kana were the only ones who stood out on forward. But I do have a few positives. I have not been a fan of McKinley making this team, but I thought he played a pretty good game tonight. He was forechecking hard and chipped in an assist tonight and his stock went up with me.I also thought that Clow struggled in pre-season, and though he never got a lot of ice time tonight, I saw some very promising things. Other than the bad turnover in front of his own net, I thought he played very well overall. Hes crafty. I thought he might be a bit scared to get hit too but he knew he was about to get pasted tonight in the first and stood in there and took it to protect the puck. Also had a decent rush at one point.
I also give Kudos to Nathan DesRoches for stepping up when Walker took the hit from behind.
I think that Jean has these kids tied up in knots. I watched their offensive neutral zone play and they never tried to make a direct pass...and lots of times it was there. They were chipping the puck away every time
