The CCC has been making some positive changes. This is a good thing and I feel should be acknowledged. Washrooms were re-done. Nice paint job!
Score board - lights are now working correctly and it is nice to see the ROCKET name in place of Paderno.
Service- good going having the girls walking around selling the 50/50 tickets and snacks. To bad Island is so slow in getting the can pop here. Be good to have as a seller as well. Maybe beer?
Keep it up CCC. Can you outdo the Wellness Centre in Summerside?

CCC outdo the Wellness Centre? No chance. Not without a complete refit!  That being said some of the changes are a good start. Bathrooms were a much needed first step. Would love to see the coffee problem addressed, another coffee stand is clearly needed. More important then french fries at a game if you ask me. The scoreboard looks great however the new Rocket signs on the board only tell me they have not be able to find a sponsor for those spots...... Red Flag........ |

Yes it seems like the CCC is moving positive changes, and kdr you are correct about the Rocket not being able to sell the scoreboard I was told that the previos sponsor did not want tto continue but was still doing something else the PR guy told them they must do both or none so take a close look and you will see they do not even have a box. It is another sign that the present pr guy is not working, they need to take a close look at this and get someone in there who can work with Islanders.

They spent all there money this year on those strobe lights and fog for the rocket entry on opening night instead of on bulbs for projectors for the replays.

Maybe the CCC can do something the Rocket will not and bring nack the screens, as we know the bulb is not the problem. I am sure of the CCC staff talk to the people who do replays they could get something done.

The game was so bad the Rocket management even gave up and were watching golf on their TV in their box!
If they're gonna do that at least turn the Tv around so that everyone in the rink thinks you're watching the game and trying to figure out something that might help.

Would be great to get the sound system working in section 8 Washrooms are a definite plus.. This is the first i've heard of section 8 not working since one of the first exhibition games at the rink. Has it been constantly not working or is it just intermittant? I Realize that at last nights game Kirk's mic was touch and go, this is because he started using his corded mic and we found out later that it was cutting out because of a pinched wire from putting the glass back in after the Hip concert. He then switched to wireless, which seems to be having a tough time reaching the receiver where i sit from inside his glass tomb down there. So there is some more tweaking to do as far as the sound system goes. Short of putting together a survey, i'm just going to have a rely on you good folks to let me know. I'll address section 8 sometime today Woody and hopefuly get it fully functional for you by wednesday |

Just curious if the lights situation is being looked at?
Since they had issues with the lights a couple weeks back during a game, they have not used the shutters since.
Not a huge deal at all, but it's a nice touch to have the lights go out when the team scores and the spotlight comes onto the ice............also for the opening player interductions.
Perhaps Darcy has some info on this....
