Maybe try gettin new Defense, Gervias Lessard and Southy should all bring in a healthy return for us come Xmas time if this keeps up, do a complete rehaul lets go for next year again Southy is 17.......why would you even consider that move? I really don't understand some peoples views on things....maybe im losing my mind or something. Put it this way if you trade Southy I think Saint John would love to have him ;D

Can I get an honest opinion? I know the team is winless with Chouinard at the helm...but is the team working hard? I don't care if they lose every game, if they work, I'll support them...if they work.
Under Jean, they didn't show any work ethic on the ice, win or lose.

Southy is a player that is untouchable this season......and for someone to even mention his name in a trade is ridiculous.

I gotta weigh in on this. 2 games in 2 nights, they are down 3-0 in the third last night and clow does not play ba shift even though he was playing well and was not at fault for any of the goals last night. Then tonight, Deighan, fresh legs sees no ice in the second period and none in the third till the last 5-6 minutes and Clow, seconf freshest legs gets 10 seconds the whole game, and you wonder why we squander leads? D are exhausted!! Micalef should know better than to expect 4 D to play 2 nights in a row and play that much without fatigue setting in. Poor bench management.

Not surprised by the result. I was not expecting much at this point. Given the way the team has played this season and a new coach, finally, on Tuesday.
The next month is going to be like training camp and exhibition games. The big draw back will be that it is gonna cost us in the standings. But as has been pointed out ad nosium the regular season is almost meaningless because so many teams make the play offs.
I just hope by mid to late November the team is in shape to play hockey because the last two home games showed there is a sorry level of conditioning on the team. You give up leads and take stupid penalties when you're out of shape and can not keep up.
No pucks every other practice and you'll see a marked improvement in the level of play.
Glad they don't have any home games for a couple weeks.

You got your Views on players and so does everyone else, I know alot of ppl who like Southy and alot who dont, I just mean this defense is doing nothing for us, are we not leading the league in shots allowed and close in Goals allowed? I dunno Lately everytime we see Gervais touch the puck, some ppl start with the old lachance quotes, they see him as his clone this year....

You got beaten by a much better team...simple as that.
You didnt deserve the 4-0 lead...Halifax was outplaying PEI from start to finish. Its not like PEI dominated, took a 4-0 lead and then quit....
Voracek, MacMillan and Knotek must have played 25 mins each...Halifax was down and basically played 2 lines...not many teams can stop these guys right now...
Basically what im saying is...it wasnt lack of effort that lost you the game...it was just that Halifax is on another level.

Like they knew what was about to happen, and just wanted it over with. 3 games in 4 days, with the last being on the road is tough though. Fatigue was absolutly a factor IMO.

Those guys did play a lot on the PP, but Cam rolled the top 3 lines pretty even in the 3rd period when it was 5 on 5. Randell and LouisXVI even got 3 shifts. Those 2 didn't play much in the 2nd, but that was due to the multiple PP/PK situations.

All the talk about firing the coach Yannic Jean granted most of the of the blame should of been on his shoulders. But lets face it the Assistant coach should be on the mat now. The defense must be the worst in the league giving up 9 goals in the two third period games and blowing the lead twice. A second win over the Screaming Eagles and Halifax to-night would have sent shock waves thru the league that Rocket were finally the threat that everybody was talking about before the season started. Micalef had 18 plus practices to work with the defense and to date they are no better that spring training. He has two weeks before our next home game to change things around and get better results or the crowds will get even worst than I agree 100%. So far this season, the D has been their weak point. From their coverage in their own zone, to making the first pass out of the zone. The D needs the help, and thats where Micalef needs to step it up some. I agree that the defense needs alot of work, not just on the blueline but also the team as a whole. But as far as the blueline, do they have the players right now that can get the job done? IMO in the past, Lessard has shown that he can play better than he is now and the same with Gervais. Main is playing alright on defense but on alot of teams he would be a 3rd pairing defenseman. Southorn, Malouin, Clow and Deighan are all 17 where Malouin, Clow and Deighan should be rotated where only one of them is in the lineup per game. I like Southorn, but I think too much is being put on his shoulders right now for a 17 year old. I think that the Rocket need to add another defenseman, but do they go for a defensive-type defenseman that can help stabilize a young D or do they go for an offensive quarterback type? I think they need both.

Yeh the only 2 players playing for the moose yetman shit the bed and no one els was hardly playing for the moose besides them 2 players. Going to find it hard once they run out of steam. Yetman allowed 1 goal on 10 shots... Other players played well but it seemed like Voracek was extra motivated tonight....

got home from just for laughs last night and checked out the q site to actually see the Rocket were winning, that was a surprise for me. Didn't last long as by the time I got the webcast up and running the game was 4-3 and then tied...and well then we know the rest of the story. complete team breakdown not to be able to hold onto a 4 goal lead. Now, we all know its going to take time for Guy's gameplan to get familar to the rocket players, i can't wait for it to happen.....something is going to have to be done in the area of defence. again the team gave up more the 40 shots....this just cannot keep happening game in and game out, there is now way the team will have a winning record no matter how "on" the goalie is, he just can't do it by himself regardless of who it is.
lil bit happy that they don't play at home for over a week, and hoping to see a much tighter and more organized team when they return to the CCC.
