Find me where scouts are "talking about his attitude and that he just scores goals". Don't say it's what people are saying on here. These people definitely aren't scouts. Don't try to say something like, well, how come he isn't ranked. I want to see where scouts are "talking about his attitude and that he just scores goals". cb If Doyle is indeed making such a mark, why are the scouts talking about his attitude and that he just scores goals? I would say that he does have abit of the Grags attitude bug and he should get rid of it and fast because I don't think M.A. is having such a great time in the AHL. |

I'm doubting stang07 is hearing anything from that grapevine.
My assumption, for sure.
Obviously I don't expect him/her to give away his/her sources. But s/he could preface a post like that by saying... ... talked to a couple of NHL guys at the rink and they're pointing at attitude problem, etc.
If we're talking only grapevine, Doyle has carried this kind of baggage since he was talked about as a 15 y/o on this board prior to his draft.

The knock on Doyle from the scouts I spoke to is that he doesn't contribute except scoring goals and his off ice attitude and habits are crap...basically he needs to get his head on straight and start playing an all around game. |

Well scouts are paid to look at everything about a player including effort level away from the puck and off ice habits/attitude. It's not rocket science to find out about a kid through team sources. |
