Rocket take on Acadie Bathurst Sunday afternoon. Rocket are hot coming off three wins.
I have a feeling its going to be a high scoring game. Rocket win 7-4.

Shhhhh...you can hear a pin drop on the Cats board. ;D
A few weeks ago we were defending our criticism of Jean and just last week they have been all over Flynn....it all goes around...karma baby.
Enough of those guys.....let's think back to a few posts where we considered trading Morrison or Walker....hmmmm.....Morrison - 8 points, 3 games.....Walker 5 points, 3 games...mercy what were we thinking.
I say keep them. Doyle and Martin have cooled off a bit (that may change tomorrow for all I know, which isn't much) and the offence is one of he shiny spots from that report card.
3 straight wins and I sense Lafleur's confidence getting some steam behind it. Still a struggle here and there, but he's coming around.
Here's what I see tomorrow..... 1. Lafleur starts and gets the win 2. Latal and Doyle figure in the scoring 3. Gallant mops the ice with somebody 4. Rocket win 5-2!!
Whoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! This what hapoens when ol' Reg gets excited about his team.....start running crazy at the keyboard. Until tomorrow Rocket Nation...4pm.....CCC.....right outta the gate!!!

The Rocket are one team in the way of the Titan towards respectability... No doubt that the Titan will now try to put a road winning sequence together.

So far Bathurst up 4-1 and still managing to develop their 16 yr old by giving him a regular shift and therefore confidence...I think that MacLean is the only 1st rounder not seeing any ice time...and playing on a team that is in third last place to boot...confusing...

According to the commentator Alain Degrace, so far terrible reffing today against the Titan. They showed so far a lot of character in spite of having been 16 of the first 40 minutes shorhanded. They are winning in spite of the refs.....for now.

Jean Hebert usually calls a decent game.........the problem with this game is Brad Mills.......he isn't just against the Titan either, he's just consistantly bad.........Alain is a bit biased toward the Titan so I don't really pay much attention to him when talking about the refs...........PEI was down 2 men on the same stoppage in play, so it doesn't look like the refs are against our team or anything.........the Labrie penalty got 5 minutes, so it must have been a pretty solid hit........I guess we will see once we can actually see the webcast.......hopefully they have it in the archieves tomorrow.

well how do you sum up this game...
1) solid "work effort " by the rocket
2) weak Rocket goaltending
3) poor Rocket powerplay
4) beaten by a better passing team
5) fluke goal kept the Rocket in the game
6) ref's were certianly on our side tonight

definitely a better passing team.. and the biggest difference is even if the pass isn't on the tape.. the titan forwards were capable of accepting bad passes in full stride
the backbreaker was the weak goal where Lafleur put the rebound of a very bad backhand shot right on the tape of the titan player .. then the breakaway goal by clendenning on the 5 min major where for 4 1/2 mins we were unable to even gain the titan zone
third period however was a strong sign .. boys battled very hard and if not for a quick whistle we mighta won.. but we probably didn't deserve to

I don't know what to say about this game......Sorry but for the most part Morrison, Walker and Doyle seemed disinterested. they just didn't have the get up and go today. The line I was most impressed with was Lachaine, Kana and Latel, when these guys were on the ice they gave it their all. Once again the D were not very good and the offense have to get the hell back and help ot the D. These guys were floating. I can't wait til Saturday's game because if they play like they did today against the Drakker, they will be toast, period. I hope that they come out and put in an honest effort.

As I said in an earlier thread, the only thing that's changed with the Rocket is the goal tending and tonight proved that point. He shouldn't have played Lafleur in back to back games and something has to be done about that "top line". They play way too much and spend too much time on the ice, PP and 5 in 5!

Some major f ups in the 2nd period but overall I see improvement. Let's face it until the defense is overhauled we have to count ourselves lucky that we can win any games.
Not sure why Southorns fight would be ok'd by Guy... I guess maybe it wasn't but it didn't really make sense to have Southorn fighting when we are hurting on D.
We need a couple top dmen... Gervais/Lessard are 2nd pair at best.
Can't wait until Christmas!

First of all Hockeypro it's always the goaltending and never defence, A little breakdown on the goals allowed by the sucking LaFleur. 1st goal was a great shot up stairs all LaFleurs fault. 2nd goal was another great shot low blocker side a very tough one to save ask any goalie or you would probably know anyway. And the 3rd goal sure it was a big rebound but Deighan just stood there and didn't do a thing. But again all LaFleur's fault. Now it is time to focus on someone else to blame 1st Jean now LaFleur. Can you even spell hockey?
