VS Cape Breton comes into town Wednesday night, and lucky for us, they seem to have fallen a bit since their hot start. I expect a Rocket win in this one.

A win would be nice, a good start would be great.
The Rocket are going to have to bring their 'A' game if they expect to compete.
I just hope to see a much better effort than what I saw Saturday. ;D

I have two predictions, If the Rocket bring their A game tomorrow, put on a show and work hard, they'll win 3-2.
If they play like the previous games, I can see a 7-1 loss.

I think they will come out with a good effort from the start tomorrow night and win the game. They know they are in last place and need points in a bad way. I think Lefleur will get the start and play a good game.

I think we will see a shake up of lines after the Baie Comeau game. What I would like to see is
Kana-Morrison-Latal Walker-Lachaine-Doyle McKinley-Locke-MacLean Gallant-CoonCome-Paynter/DesRoches
Lessard-Main Southorn-Gervais Malouin-Clow
Gelinas (Lafleur needs to sit some games)

Rocket needs to get fired up early in games Slow starts are hurting the P.E.I. squad CHARLES REID The Guardian
Pins and needles.
It’s a way to describe the mood of the P.E.I. Rocket, a way to relate how the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League squad is dealing with its habit of starting slow in games.
The pattern usually means the Rocket (10-14-1) is behind early, something it can’t do against the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles (18-9-2-2) tonight at the Civic Centre. Game time is 7 p.m.
And after a Tuesday practice that had some players smiling and some cursing at each other, it’s a problem with real weight.
“I think that some of the guys are bit worried about it that we’ll get off to a bad start, but I think we have to come out there and forget about the past games,” said Rocket forward Brett Morrison. “We need to have a way better start than the other night. The first 10 minutes killed us right off the bat.”
Three goals in the first half of the first period on Saturday was all Baie-Comeau needed for a 6-2 win at the CCC, where P.E.I. is 5-6.
In 14 of its 25 games, P.E.I.’s given up the first goal in the first period. In three of those, it’s surrendered three goals in the initial stanza. That’s compared to just six times where the Rocket has scored first.
Either way it’s a bad recipe for Rocket head coach Guy Chouinard, who says it’s a player’s responsibility to prepare the mind as much as it’s his job to prep the body.
“When you come to the rink that one thing in mind should be the game,” Chouinard said. “The game starts whenever the buzzer (sounds), but you’re mentally supposed to be prepared.”
Players arrive at the CCC about two hours before game time, and Chouinard said while things outside the game like school and family life are important, they should be shuffled aside at the rink because of why major junior hockey exists.
“Some guys are looking for pro contracts, some guys are looking to be drafted, some want to make living by being a professional player,” he said. “At least you should be willing to get yourself ready.”
P.E.I. is 1-1 against the Eagles this season. The games have been eventful on and off the ice.
First, Rocket president and governor Serge Savard Jr. fired former head coach Yanick Jean after a 6-2 road win over Cape Breton on Oct. 21. The Rocket had won three straight games at the time.
Three days later, Chouinard made his Rocket coaching debut and watched his new squad’s 4-2, second-period lead evaporate under the heat of four third-period Eagles goals.
Game notes: Rocket forward Martin Latal missed Tuesday’s practice because of an unknown illness. He’s expected to be in the lineup for tonight’s game . . . Marc-Antoine Gélinas will start in goal for the Rocket tonight.

It's time to seperate the Morrison-Walker combo and do the the same line combo for the PP with each line getting 1 min shifts and for the love of God, get Doyle off the ice when his 1 min is up

Looking forward to tonights contest, as I see the Rocket coming out with a big W.
Like to see DesRoches inserted into the lineup, and given some ice time.
Be interesting to see Clendenning in an Eagles jersey though...

Great game by the Rocket tonight I thought....... Mo played very well....good to see him back on after his little incident in the 3rd. Left the rink happy for once, just wish Gelinas could have gotten the shutout. The Pk was great all game too. Lemonhead showed his toughness with two mins to go....then with all his anger he gave Kana a little shove.... Looking forward to Friday night!

Finally a good night at the rink... just what the doctor ordered was a game with that "powerhouse" Cape Breton team Can't say too much bad after this game... other than the fourth line who played terribly but at least they played... Morrison looked like the Mo of last years playoff.. Latal was skating much better but still snakebitten badly (tho whats up with his feud with Chouinard of CB.. two fighst now) and macKinley was great... the PK was outstanding (and busy) and the defense played as good as I've seen all year... can't wait for Friday

Once we got past the 5 min mark we were already improved over Saturday's effort ;D...all in alll great effort by the boys tonight. - Morrison did look great out there. Good energy from him tonight, seemed really into the game. - Geli came up with some very nice saves in his almost shutout performance. Easily should be considered for another start Fri night. Afterall Lafleur saw 5 straight games, so why not give MAGs a another go. - Poor Latal....I'm starting to feel sorry for the kid. So many chances. As I recall last season he had trouble burying the puck, but down the stretch he was starting to tally the goals. Should he survive the X-mas shopping I see him having a good 2nd half. - PK units were all working hard out there tonight and even created some shorthanded scoring opportunities. - Have to hand to Chouinard and Haddad....they certainly went with the "toughest" guys we have and that clown "Lemonhead" being all brave and strong on the bench and Bois said gives Kana a love tap. - Wouldn't right if I didn't mention my man Lucas "Skywalker" McKinley for another fine effort tonight. Channel the Force, Lucas! Really looking forward to Fri night as well as getting back to a schedule where these guys aren't sitting on their duffs for more than 2-3 days.

A good solid effort overall. Morrison's line played very well, and I thought Doyle played well.
It was good to see the Rocket play with a little more physicality tonight. We need to see that more often from these guys.
Highlight #1.......Brad Gallant's behind the back pass to himself!
Highlight #2t......Prokopetz trying to break Walkers stick after Walker was gone to the sin bin! Too funny. ;D
