What are the chances that Reggie is reading this right now?
I'm sure he meant it when he said he was outta here and he won't post, but I'm sure he came back to take a look at responses, no?

I just read his blog in the Guardian and it was well written and really give you pause for thought. Certainly understand his thoughts and for sure will take more notice of how I post at times as well. We have all been guilty of going to far at some point.

We have all been guilty of going to far at some point. I agree. Some more then others however. Which is usually the case.

That I did, but then again it is what it is "an article" and I don't tend to believe a lot of what I read in the public media. That said though, we can all be a little more vigilant when posting comments about others.

I don't understand what you mean when you say you "...don't tend to believe a lot of what [you] read in the public media." He wrote on his opinion about certain comments on messageboards, it's not like he was stating a bunch of facts or anything.

He wrote on his opinion about certain comments on messageboards, it's not like he was stating a bunch of facts or anything. He was using quotes that may or may not be accurate......what don't you get? Jonathan Habashi with the L’Express in Drummondville asked Voltigeurs head coach Guy Boucher, who holds a degree in sports psychology, about the impact of fan forums. He said that some players have left the QMJHL because they felt that they did not measure up after reading comment, after comment saying so.

And sure it's a Blog with some strong opinions and references to events that may or may not be true. We should still move on

It's about his own personal experience with message boards. The only reference he makes to those quotes is: "Certainly Boucher’s comments gave this corner something to think about and that’s why I left a forum recently. I had been wrestling with the fact that we are discussing the merits of teenaged players and realized that it’s just not my bag anymore to tell a player that he’s no good especially when they’re our own guys." That doesn't say he thinks they're right or that they're facts. It just says that it made him think.
