I hate to dwell on the past but as others have mentioned, we could have got Anderson at the draft so this just makes the price we payed for Campanelli look even more ridiculous. They apparently didn't have him listed as a player of interest back then ... shows how good our GM and scouting staff have been (Corson, Massie, and so on, and so on ... ) |

I think it's a fair deal just looking at it in isolation, but in the overall picture it's far from any vindication that Shannon is some sort of great GM. It's just him trying to cover up a bunch of screw ups. That said I fully admit to being quite excited about MacDonald being on the Cats roster for the next few seasons. Trades are pretty easy to make when you have a bunch of assets to spend. |

You can make arguments about overpaying for any player we could have drafted and then trading for them later. It's a lot more obvious in round 1. You can afford misses late, but not that early! |

Are you trying to sweep the 7,321st bad move you've made in your time here by trading away pick #8 when you could have acquired him but wanted the all star who wouldn't report to Baie Comeau in Campanelli. The guy never stops spewing garbage from his mouth. The times and transcript should just publish articles with comments from Rumble saying he is excited at adding talent yada yada and no comments from Shannon cause it gets worse and worse. |

I have had season tickets for over 10 years in the past. Up to 4 at one point. I gave those up a few years ago. I can't remember the last season opener I missed. But I will definitely not be there this year... or any other games for that matter as long as he is GM. |
