Interesting notes on a couple of guys who spent some time in Charlottetown.
Samuel Blair made his NHL debut with the Blues in their 2-1 loss in TB last night. He was pointless with two shots on goal. It's a great accomplishment for the 21 y/o to make it to the NHL so quickly given that he was a 6th round pick.
Former Rocket goaltender Maxime Lagace was recalled by Vegas this morning following an injury to MAt Fleury. He will backup in today's game vs Boston.

That is great news for a guy who I really think could have a nice pro career.
I look forward to seeing Filip making his NHL debut this evening for the Sens!

it's great to see so many of our alumni getting a taste of NHL action now.... for the first 12 years or so we really didn't see this at all
lapierre, graganani and laliberte were the only ones
in the last 4-5 years we've seen
nestrasil, sprong, johnston, blais, and now chlapik... possibly Legace might even get some gametime with Vegas goalie injuries

Graves has to get a crack with NYR here too. He's played so well in the AHL.
Dostie and Meloche are off to good starts in the pros too.
Goalies take longer. Hopefully MM can get some traction in his second ECHL season.
Great to see!

The Score app also shows Lagace as the expected starter tonight, but that still might change.

Can't see them flying him in and throwing him out there behind an expansion team to play a desperate Rangers club. Many times goalies get the emergency call up and sit on the bench for the night.
