Tonight in Bathurst. Tomorrow against BBA. Measuring stick games.
Two out of a possible 4 points would be considered a success.
GO CATS GO!

I see Pataki is still out. Does anyone know how much longer before he is back in the lineup?

They didn't cancel the game due to weather? Can't see them driving back in a storm...

AB TITAN 5- MONCTON REFEREES 2 Two goals waved off. Yeah, the referees really favoured Moncton tonight. Get real.

chsb come on. I will agree that the reffing was poor tonight, but it hurt both teams. Fitzpatrick won this game for the Titan. Balmas certainly helped with a pair of lasers. Welsh, McKenna and Miromanov all looked very good for the Wildcats.
Terrible sportsmanship to come on both this board and the Bathurst board and post AB TITAN 5 - MONCTON REFEREES 2. A new low even for you chsb.

Unbelievable the missed calls on one side and the flimsy calls on the other.

But like usual, you take people's wording, twist it, and make it work in your favour. Classical CHSB. And you wonder why other posters are always on your back, and give you zero credibility.

While reading chsb's post where he twisted my words to suit his argument (a common occurrence with chsb I know) - a thought struck me:
chsb for President!

I'm not sure why you don't just accept it as the way it is. For the most part ... reffing is an opinion ... in the opinion of the ref that was an infraction ... or was not. In your own opinion you bring in huge homerism and that clouds your judgment when it comes to calls against your own team. You have always been one that is blind to the frailties of your own team because you are the biggest homer in the world. I am not suggesting that there is anything wrong with you being a giant supporter of your team ... your team needs more fans like you. But your opinion of things that negatively affect the Titan is worth nothing to anybody else. "have a good day". The refereeing is not at a new low ... it is the same as it has always been ... inconsistent and open to the limits of humans.

Looks as though Khovanov is going to miss at least 2 games, one against Bathurst and one against Halifax, to play for Team Russia at the U18 Five Nations Cup next week.
Many other CHL players are going as well but I find it kind of strange that the teams/players do this right in the middle of their seasons.
