To me, Rumble and Shannon's job depends on whether or not we get the Memorial Cup hosting. Shannon was on the broadcast for the last game and Craig Eagles asked him what the strategy was if they don't get the hosting. Eagle's suggested that if they win the hosting they'll go all in as expected ... but if they don't win then perhaps they'd slow the build down ... and Shannon agreed that was the approach. That's why it's so hard to host the MC, never much time to prepare or to aligne the rebuilt consequently. The announcement will be made with the Golden Puck Awards on the 4th. I always thought Moncton would get the bid. If they do, I'll be planning soon for next year!

I heard from a source that any discussions on the future directions won’t happen until after Memorial Cup location announcement for 2018-19 season. Then again, sources do speculate more often than not. I also heard from a source within the organization that a number of the players have checked out well before playoffs started by the way they were being treated by Rumble - obviously he was the main reason Bellamy left may cost us a few others if he stays (Khavanov most likely) - Also I don't see a win Sunday as a couple of players have been offered AHL/ECHL options once we lose out Yeah they look real checked out and ready for golf season..

I'd love to see them put a good game together Tuesday and take the series. If not, that was the last game in history of the Coliseum.

Granetbauer seems to have shown Beausoleil where to stick his opinion tonight ... let’s hope he can repeat the performance in game 7!

Comes down to a one game winner take all.. who woulda thought Kudos for getting to 7 games. I thought the series was going 5. That being said, for an elimination game, it looked like neither team wanted to win tonight...that is the least intense playoff game I have ever seen in the Q, looked like both teams were happy to just dump it in and dump it out and wait for a bounce. I was watching Bathurst-Chicoutimi Friday and the intensity was 2-3 notches higher...

Granetbauer seems to have shown Beausoleil where to stick his opinion tonight ... let’s hope he can repeat the performance in game 7! I didn't find he was tested a lot. I was surprised to see Rimouski got so many shots, not many were high danger and on net. Both teams seemed to handle the puck like it was a grenade.

Beausoleil had reminders from the 2015 playoffs. That was exactly my tought going into fridays game. Quite different from today's game. Hopefully tuesday's will be a replay.

Impressive series from the Cats to force this to seven games. I fully admit to thinking it would be over in four games, five at the most. Now it’s off to Game 7 and anything can happen!
On the negative side how cringe worthy was the constant showing Beausoleil on the screen with the piped in boos? If there was ever a prime example of why this franchise needs a complete makeover in gameday operations this would be it.
