Should be 2-3-2 but I see it being 2-2-1-1-1. Friday and Sunday in Blainville. Magic have a playoff game next Tuesday. I can see game 3/4 being Wednesday and Thursday. Speed Sport is the weekend of 13th, 14th, 15th so Coliseum won’t be available. Wildcats are the major tenant ... shouldn't get bumped by Magic. I wish that stupid basketball league would just go away or when we move to the new arena, let the Magic stay at the coliseum as the major tenant.

great upset and one advantage the Wildcats possess is they can score against any team if Seitz can continue his shutdown play plus the goaltending remains great an even bigger upset vs BBA is possible

The guy is 16 and put up 4 goals and 7 points in 7 games. The difference in this series from the regular season was the team as a whole played a lot better defensively. We did not see nearly as many bad giveaways and huge defensive breakdowns. I don't attribute it to shadowing guys in particular. The forwards especially have been way more responsible without the puck. Guys like Lecoultre and Sylvestre still had some rough games in the series on defense. I thought Grametbauer cut down his bad goals, without having a great series, he found a way to win. The way Aspirot is playing, it makes me wonder why they paid through the nose for Sylvestre who was acquired to play the game that Aspirot plays, makes that deal look even worse. Sylvestre had some horrible giveaways and blown coverages for a guy who was supposed to be a shutdown guy.

They were not actively shadowing him the first 2 games, or even game 3 that I can recall . 3 of the games the Cats won of the 4 he was held pointless, including the last 2 games which he was shadowed. He may be 16 but he also scored 42 goals in the regular season. If you were at the games live you would see that Lafreniere was given no space when Seitz was shadowing him. Hard to see that on TV.

He is only 16 ... but he had 80 pts in 60 games in the regular season ... 42 goals ... and was Rimouski's top scorer. In games 1 to 3 of this series he had 3 goals and 2 assists ... not much but you could see him starting to take over the series. So once Seitz started shadowing him he had a goal and an assist in the final 4 games. They took away Rimuoski's top weapon.

Lost in the excitement of last night's game was Mckenna getting 4 assists.

Defensively it's still a team game, if you have a guy shadow Lafreniere but there are other breakdowns, nobody notices because the puck ends up in the net. plus it puts a lot of pressure on the other 4 guys not to miss assignments of switches as it's 4 on 4 for them.

Absolutely, and the rest of the team gets credit for their defensive play. Especially Hudson, Pataki, Capanelli and a few others, but that doesn't discredit what Seitz did. Lafreniere had a noticeable number of chances and space when Beausoleil was able to get him away from Seitz a few shifts. You can give credit to Seitz & the team, it doesn't have to be one or the other.

Scheduling conflicts are inevitable with any building like the Coliseum. Many NBA and NHL teams co-exist using the same facilities, Leafs & Raptors/Bruins & Celtics are the two closest. So there is no reason why the Wlldcats and Magic cannot share the same building. There are many fans who are season ticket holders for both teams. Go Cats Go! Go Magic Go!

Throw that basketball floor down for an afternoon game, and try to play hockey on it at night after removing it and its like skating on mashed potatoes. But ... shitty ice actually narrows the talent gap so it may be to our benefit.
