You think Alchorn cracks th roster over Rumsey? based on what I have seen, yes...but maybe both make it with Pelletier injured... Plus, Hudson still has 2 games left on his three game suspension. |

I think you can have a great draft by sending a bunch to MAAA and have them come in at 17 and be ready. You can hurt a player's development by keeping them and not giving them rope to play and improve. That was the issue with Bellamy last year, he sat while guys like Arsenault Auger and Weiringa played... |

My understanding is that Kuzmin will be placed on waivers tomorrow, so we can unofficially remove him from the training camp roster. mason is having a great camp, in case you haven,t been there I saw both preseason games, did not notice him much. I prefer the bigger, younger guys in the bottom 2-3 spots. |

I heard from a source very close to the team tonight that CB offered a 2nd and a 5th for Kuzmin but they turned it down. I asked if there was more to the deal from the cats side since that seemed like a lot and they said nope it was straight up.

This can't possibly be true. They wouldn't put a player (Kuzmin) on waivers if a 2nd and 5th round pick were offered. I agree but it’s also a very reliable source with no reason to just make it up. Who knows. If it is true best I can think is maybe it was at the draft when Kuzmin might still have been in their plans. Even still I can’t imagine why CB would offer that though and if they did, you take it and run. Doesn’t really matter anyway now I guess |
