it was mentioned during last nights' game that players can be added up to the gold medal game.it would make sense for them to keep him in case of more injuries.

In the last 5 games including last night's game against Halifax, Khovanov has scored 14 points with a grand total of only 2 penalty minutes. Coincidence? I don't think so.
Has he finally figured it out?

Has he finally figured it out? I think pairing him with Pelletier is a very smart move. He keeps him in check & I'm sure his work effort can only rub off positively on him.

Also has been a big difference since he was benched in the Val dor game after taking a dumb penalty

Khovanov has improved his game this past season ! He is hitting hard , winning key face offs and seems to be able to make things happen almost every shift he is on the ice, as well as staying out of the box at key times . He will easily get 100 pets this season and he will make team Russia at the wjhc this year . Sure Pelletier is helping him but Khovanov looks like he is a level above most players, I enjoy watching him and Pelletier play on the same line. This is definitely a go for it year for moncton but I hope torchetti doesn’t trade away the farm.... We need a good shutdown d-man and a shutdown centre man to put us in contention.
What would Groulx from Halifax and bouldoc or Arsenault cost ?

What would Groulx from Halifax and bouldoc or Arsenault cost ? cats or dogs? kidding how many games would he miss by going to world juniors? he is averaging 2 PPG so far but i think that number will go down as the season progresses...... i would think he should get 100 points if he stays healthy but easily.... that's a bold claim in todays Q

just looked it up as i was curious.... he's on a ridiculous run right now 22 points in his last 8 games..... that will surely not continue and his PPG average will definitely fall back to get more in line as games played adds up...... one 6 point game early in the season really skews numbers early take that game away for example and he's 1.84 which is still very good but far from the 2.14 he is at right now when you include it

In that 8 game stretch 4 of the games are against SJ/Bathurst so definitely going to miss some prime scoring opportunities there.

However, I'm not sure the run he is on is as far beyond what can be expected the rest of the season. His improvement combined with playing with other elite players gives him a perfect situation to have an exceptional year. A 6 pt game is absolutely an outlier, but who's to say he doesn't have another game or 2 like that before the year is over. I don't think he hits 100 pts "easily" but I'd set his over/under around there. I think 55gp and 100pts would be a reasonable expectation (1.82 ppg)

Although it doesn’t count , he did have 4 points last night.
