Wildcat hockey is truly becoming painful to sit through. To the casual fan stopping in for one game May feel this is an intense back and forth close contest but man how far the Cats have fallen

Big win for Quebec without Kurashev, Grouchy and St-Laurent.

Another awful effort. How much can Rumble survive? Can we force Irving out?

Another awful effort. How much can Rumble survive? Can we force Irving out? One way or another, they should be shopping extra 19 year olds plus Cyr for a big return and look to find a coach and GM who would do both jobs.

Another awful effort. How much can Rumble survive? Can we force Irving out? Wasn’t someone saying his contract expires after this season? I assume he’s done after this year and they’ll bring in someone to fill the GM/Coach role.

Guess the big question this season is what is the game plan going forward from now. 2017-18 Wildcats placed 14th in the league regular season and got to the second round, to date(2018-19)they( Cats) are still holding 5th spot. Is the intent to hold a position inside the top ten and at least get to the second round again, perhaps third. Last season the scenario was kinda understood, this season is hard to figure out as I see it.

Tonight with about a 1:30 left in the third, Irving left his box and walked down to the mezzanine level, where he watched from the rail. When they scored in OT he immediately stormed toward the front doors ... didn't look happy.

Well, Rumble pointed the finger at himself after the St John game and now we lost in horrible fashion again. He can’t do that twice, Now what?

Checked the online T&T article and apparently the Cats took a baby step in the right direction tonight. Blowing a 3-1 lead at home to a Remparts team missing key pieces and that has gone through an incredible number of trades - what amazing progress!
Did anyone actually enjoy the game tonight? I sure as hell did not. Another terrible and generally lifeless performance and I mostly felt numb to what I was seeing. This team is beyond pathetic right now. Something has got to give.

After the tying goal, I saw him get up from his seat in the Cats box, he went over to Ritchie Thibeau and had a brief conversation, then disappeared ... have to figure the coaching staff is on thin ice ...

The Cat's have fallen apart....not sure the cause but this is a critical year for the team. They need to win fans over and put a great product on the ice to put people in the seats. Mr. Irving and the taxpayers of Moncton have invested heavily in the success of the team in this new facility. A bad year will hurt the numbers next year and that will not be good.
I do not question Irving's commitment to the team, but let's not take it for granted.
They need to turn the ship around quickly.

Have to figure something significant is going to happen this weekend ... 1) Deal away one or more vets as they realize this is not their year 2) Deal for an impact Euro to try and salvage the season (or other impact player - not sure if there is much left on the market at this point - likely an OA or two out there) 3) Coaching change Of the additions so far, neither Huntley or Giguere have made much of an impact so far ...

I shudder at the thought of option #2. There's no way on earth the Cats are getting into the same stratosphere as Drummondville and Rouyn-Noranda at this point. The additions of Huntley and Giguere are moves you make when you're adding on to an already contending team. They're not game changers, they're simply just good players.

Again, the question has to be asked which I am sure crossed Irving’s mind. What have Saint John, Haxifax and Bathurst done the Moncton hasn’t been able to do- put a contending team together to go all the way to a Memorial Cup win. If small town franchise such as Bathurst can pull it off, that has to grate on RKI.
