Thank you. I was not aware of that arrangement. Financially it makes more sense to me now. That could work to Baie Comeau's advantage financially - I am sure a Friday night gate at Avenir Centre will dwarf whatever the gate would have been at home.

It does work to the Drakkar benefit financially. But they earned it. They are a top 6 rank CHL team and that should be a home game. No guarantees in life. It could as easily be vs a team some year that doesnt draw fans and a 50% split of a poor market is pretty small. In convenience of travel and expenses like flights and hotels it's a great trade off. A slim competitive edge to the Cats can be pretty valuable if they steal one of the games up in B-C and that little bit of hope for Moncton will assure a bigger gate for the Drakkar to plunder out of game 5.
