League should be embarrassed about that decision. That’s is just wrong. Completely goes against the call on the McIsaac hit. If that was a suspension...this was worse. McIsaac at least went for a legal hit but went too high making it dirty. That intent was nothing but dirty. Glove to the face only has 1 intent and it's not to clean some gatorade off the lips of the other team. |

They definitely seem to be all over the place when it comes to what is and isn't suspendable ... Antelainen, Aspirot, McIsaac, Bouchard just in the last week - it is as though they flip a coin and decide which ones they suspend on and which ones they don't. |

The League absolutely needs to get rid of this results oriented BS when it comes to suspending a player. Whether the player is injured or not should not be used in determining the suspension. This hit was worse than McIssac's aside from the fact that Seitz wasn't skating as fast. I guess as long as you try to target the head of a player going slow, its all good.

Good old QMJHL you can always count on them for consistence om calls, I don't know if anyone has ever figured them out, that was definitely a suspendable hit in my eyes. |
