Legally couldn't you draw it between the Q Draft and Training Camp ? Some assistant coaches draw pogey from the end of the season to the start of camp. A GM and coach would work year round though with all the scouting and draft prep and such I assume. |

Key Responsibilities: Selecting Coach: Identify, attract and select the hockey operations staff that meet the needs, standards,mandate and culture of the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles organization. Plan, prepare, negotiate and advise the club President on staff contract negotiations. Sounds like it is 2 jobs in their mind. Or maybe I can convince them for a 60% pay bump to let me do both. That way we are both ahead. |

It says in the posting that it’s the GMs job to hire a coach.
Also, I will be the GM. I’ve already taken the Eagles to the Memorial Cup 3 times.... in NHL 17.
