Almost noon now and still not even one of the trades announced ( Fortier or Leonard). I know the office was closed yesterday, but am I just being impatient expecting at least to see a trade on the site by now, even if it’s another team? Yes, you're being impatient. Deals can be known for days and not get officially announced for whatever reason.

For what it is worth, January 2 is a statutory holiday in Quebec - most businesses are closed. Perhaps the Q office only opens tomorrow.

Maybe I haven't seen enough of Leonard...this move seems like getting older just for the sake of getting older. I have no problem making the future worse when you're bringing in game changers for this season. This move makes the future slightly worse for what I see as next to no change to this season. I was impressed by Leonard last season... but not so much this season. I think the losing wore him down somewhat.

Been noticing since the start of the trade period that it’s been past noon Quebec time before any of the trades show up on Q site

Ozzie King has been traded to Halifax for a late round pick. Makes sense, he was unlikely to play here. Should get a chance to play there.

Ozzie King has been traded to Halifax for a late round pick. Odd man out. He didn't cost the Cats much. Was a throw in of the Leclerc acquisition.

Ozzie King has been traded to Halifax for a late round pick. There was a logjam of forwards so one had to move, I guess. Hopefully he’s able to get some good ice time with Halifax.

A B-C fan is saying that they heard that Desnoyers isn’t part of the Fortier deal. If that’s the case, I’m interested to see what was included in the trade to make it work.
I think it’s fair to say that Moncton will be crazy busy at the draft with finishing up all these trades they’ve made.

Most GM's won't discuss futures to avoid risk of fines.
