A solid week off of practices, solidifying line combos, systems etc. Which cats team shows up tonight? The one who has scored 1 goal against the Dogs in the last two games on almost 90 shots or the team that fills the net and frustrates Bouthillier? He has shut us down since the 9-0 shellacking and we have lost 3 of 4 against the dogs this year.
We need a sweep this weekend!
Any news on Desnoyer?
Go Cats Go!

I think we light them up tonight (hoping) but the Saturday game will be closer.

L’Heureux a healthy scratch? Didn’t seem to be any apparent injury. If that’s the case he should never be sitting behind any of the bottom six. I find D’Aoust is having a great game!
I am least impressed with Liam Leonard, that was a terrible trade. I’ve given it 6 or so games to see if it was just “break in” but Not sure if Lacroix told him what he was being brought in for. He hasn’t bought into the role if he was told. He does zero to even initiate physical contact, shows no grit, doesn’t get in anyone’s face. I think he thinks he is here to be a sniper. Just wanna see him come with energy bang bodies and answer the bell for teammates. Hell the guy had 80pim last year. Just no physical presence.
Also can I just take a minute to praise Groulx the “face off wizard” man it’s incredible his winning percentage. He has Deakin Poot bitching lol.
Any chance we ever beat Bouthillier again this year? He could have cane alone on the bus to Moncton fack...

Cats need to score and take the lead in the 2nd. I just don't trust SJ.

For the nth time, Khovanov blew a gasket last night for I don't know what. As a result he was given a 2 min unsportsmanlike penalty in addition to a 10 minute misconduct penalty. If nothing changes he will hurt us more than help us come playoff time.
As hard as Pelletier is trying, he just can't keep him in check.
Who's in favour of having him as a healthy scratch in Saint John tonight?
I remember even Garland being scratched one time for one game and the team responded with one of their best games of that particular season.
Worth a try or is it too risky in the sense that he could react negatively about it?

He was upset that he got pushed into the open bench door by Deakin-Poot as he was going off and had his back to D-P. That went uncalled. Maurice Leblanc does not like Khovanov and it shows on the ice with the treatment he gives him.

If nothing changes he will hurt us more than help us come playoff time I was really liking Khavanov’s game up until that point...he had been very composed and was playing a really great game. But then Seadogs targeted Khavanov on consecutive shifts with some “extra attention”. Both shifts ended with shoves to his back as he was trying to get to the bench.3 different guys gave him pokes, shoves, and punches to the back(over the 2 shifts). None of it amounted to anything, it was just annoying attention...Marchand style, and then he lost his shit. If it’s that easy to get under his skin, teams will continue to do it until he learns to let it go.

If Khovanov only got a 10 and a 2, a goal of 12 minutes. There was 13:58 left in the 3rd so why did he leave the game?
