Ben Roode picked up for a 9th round pick. I'm almost shocked by that. It seems odd that Bathurst would give up on him so soon. He may have been drafted a bit high (14th overall - just ahead of Josh Lawrence - in 2018). But I see him as a kid that's likely still growing into his body and could very well be a key depth player for the Sea Dogs over the next 2 years. |

Based on the press release looks like Pags has been released since no deal had been announced and they didn’t mention him as part of the goalie tandem.

I wonder if we get the pick back for him Doubt it. It wasn’t conditional from what’s been made public. No biggie anyway, just too bad it did t work out for us or Pags. Probably still SJ property and if we can find a taker we’ll get a late round pick for him. It would be nice tp tons him a place to play, most GMs are good in that respect. |
