Tonight's game was a pretty good example of one of the big problems with this team. Very weak veteran leadership. A loss to another team that has also been underachieving somewhat but not as badly. Their 19 and 20 year olds got more points tonight than ours have for the entire season so far. Well I didn't say him by name but Girouard was definitely one of the guys I was referring to that I thought had been a disappointment so far. Hopefully this is game #1 of him proving me wrong. I think you're undervaluing Leonard too. I get your point to an extent but he's a better player than you are giving him credit for. He might not provide much offense but he's a +1 on a team that only has one win in regulation in 8 games. If he's not contributing much offensively then he must be doing something right defensively to be +1. |

That is our problem so far no veterans are making any noise. But my real question is has anybody heard a definite answer on Kotkov ? I read that Georgie had said November he’d be playing games. Well it’s November. |

Not sure if we'd be able to get permission to carry a 4th 16 year old this season if he was willing to come. I believe we are currently only carrying one extra forward though. We've been very lucky with injuries and Covid symptoms so far. Probably wouldn't be too hard to rotate a few guys in and out when everyone is available and it's only a matter of time before guys start to become unavailable for one reason or another.

I believe you can carry 4 sixteen year-olds without a special exemption.

It would be nice to get Guillaume Richard in the line up. There hasn't been alot of talk about Drapeau's game. He is turning into a nice find and still not even 16 until late December. They have him playing a regular shift, killing penalties. Hopefully he continues to develop.

Makes mistakes here and there as you'd expect a rookie to do but overall he looks like a great pick. i agree I didn’t like the puck what so ever , drapeau plays the game how it’s suppose to be played. Sticks up for his teammates always the first one into a scrum plays physical , he skates well I really like him . Hopefully he can really take it to the next level in the next couple seasons. |

Hopefully Hughes can come in and get a chance to play and have a good season.
I wonder when they give up on Kotkov coming over and sign a 20 year old. There must be some very good 20 year old FA out there needing a place to play.

This is great for SJ but nobody wonder about quarantine here? The timeline from the two tweets doesn’t leave much time for quarantine. So the real question is when did he get back in Atlantic Canada? He’s in thes same room as Georgie and at least John Moore and it doesn’t seem like the 14 days were done. |
