Will be interesting to see how they fit him in. Carruthers barely played last night. Vander Voet dressed for the first time in a while and didn't play a whole lot either.
Also if Gartley is not going to be used then maybe he should be sent down to get some playing time. The defense has been playing it's best lately so not sure if now would be the best time to mess with it. Prior to that, Poirier gave the coaches every reason in the world to be benched but it never happened so it likely never will (for him or any of the other vets). I'd hate to scratch Drapeau since he's been playing so well but maybe either he or McCallum need to sit out some games here and there to give Gartley a chance to play.

This is great for SJ but nobody wonder about quarantine here? The timeline from the two tweets doesn’t leave much time for quarantine. So the real question is when did he get back in Atlantic Canada? He’s in thes same room as Georgie and at least John Moore and it doesn’t seem like the 14 days were done. He’s been in Atlantic Canada for over two weeks. Thanks for clearing that up with out anything to back up a blanket statement. All due respect these are the things that you need to back up. This isn’t something that just saying oh he’s been here for 2 weeks.

Do you honestly think the Sea Dogs would have a picture knowingly posted to Twitter without him completing his two week quarantine? Or have him sit down in the owners seats for the game for all to see? The league would have something to say about that I am sure, and not to mention the government.

Weird thing is we are in a global pandemic going on here. I also don’t know if you know this but we are actually in maybe the safest place in the world but definitely in North America. So this is completely different then a trade rumour and not giving up a source, this is public safety. Why is that so hard to take.

To answer your question I hope not is my answer. I will add and this is just my personal opinion I don’t like how they don’t have masks on either in that picture.

I'm sure the people that need to know this sort of thing (Public Health) have the facts to back it up. It doesn't need to be proven by anyone on here to anyone on here. The fact that we are in a global pandemic is exactly why common sense would suggest that they wouldn't be putting pictures on social media of him breaking quarantine.

If common sense wasn’t a problem we’d have zero cases in Atlantic Canada, but we don’t. Look here’s a great example of why this makes me worry. If it’s not a big deal post it add it in the news release. If you go to the Mooseheads website they make sure it’s in there so no question is asked. The first sign that this kid left his school was a reporter in New England 4 days ago then the next thing you see is a picture of him in the Sea Dogs Office with the GM. All they had to do is put 1 or 2 sentences in the news release. This once again is a matter of well not just the Sea Dogs safety but the rest of the Atlantic division bubble. halifaxmooseheads.ca/article/alexis-gravel-looks-to-return-to-mooseheadshalifaxmooseheads.ca/article/william-robitaille-recalledhalifaxmooseheads.ca/article/zack-jones-arrives-in-halifaxThere’s 3 examples of the Moosehead players coming to the team in the past month every release talks about the Quarantine. All the Huges release said is he’s hasn’t practiced in weeks.

If common sense wasn't a problem we also wouldn't have a guy named statsman18 constantly being a pretentious arsehole to people on different message boards. But here we are. You always need to have people "prove" things to you. And you always need to respond to long time posters as if they're morons which just proves you aren't only pretentious but you're also fucking dumb.

I just don’t understand why you think they wouldn’t follow the protocol that the league and the provinces have in place? I have no proof they did, just like you have none that suggests they didn’t. I don’t really know what to tell you here.

They likely do not need to add into the press release that he's quarantining because he was already in the province well before this unlike those other 3 you mentioned. He never even played a game for his team in the US. Sometimes the most obvious answer is the answer and there isn't anything nefarious happening. Do you think the Sea Dogs would risk their entire team contracting covid by skipping protocols to bring in a guy who likely starts on the 4th line?

But say it other wise. You obviously have not seen the whole conversation but it all started when a reporter from New England posted he left his school to go back to Canada on Friday. Then yesterday tweet come out that he signed. So it’s not a time to be cute with this stuff and it’s really not a time to assume anything, if it’s legit be up front with it. It’s that simple. Like I said before just because it’s common sense doesn’t mean that people are doing it. That is way the virus is still kicking. It actually blows my mind that people are fighting this. Show the proof state it somewhere. Really all they have to say is he came back 2 weeks ago and quarantine at home or he crossed the border we didn’t let him go by SJ and put him directly in a hotel for 2 weeks. Anything it’s not hard.

No one here is going to show you proof. Would you like a timestamp of his border crossing? Perhaps you could email the team if you are this concerned about it. The tweet from this reporter doesn't make any mention of when he left. Could have been in October for all we know. The bottomline is the Sea Dogs are not going to risk infecting their entire team with coronavirus to bring in a 16 year old earlier than public health guidelines allow.

Thanks tips that why I’ve said the team should be making it known. And once again I HOPE SO. But will not assume it.
