With Hopkins going back to Stanstead, is there any concern that he will never suit up for Moncton? Guys like to go the NCAA route from there... it seems weird to me that you’d go back there with Covid concerns (reason reported for missing camp) but wouldn’t report to the Q. Seems to me like there might be more than that going on...

Umm ya that calls for a wildcats statement as Thebeau was adamant that the reason both Hopkins and Rossi weren’t reporting had nothing to do with hockey and in a normal year they would be here. Now you are seeing it reported somewhere he is headed into the hotbed of Covid 19 in Canada but can’t hop a province over in the relatively safe Atlantic bubble to play for the Cats?

The TT had an article on Spence possibly playing his last game as a WC, as great as Spence is, I hope they hit while the iron is hot and move him early in the trade period. Even at 80% of max value it's better than being caught with nothing if teams get skittish and he plays pro next year.

Does that mean that 3 Maritime teams are now shut down ? SJ, CB, Mon ?

Moncton could have played without the test, but they would have had to convince CB to travel today.
They are down now because they (and opponents) can't travel from (to) Moncton.

That could be because of CB playing vs a covid positive player last night. / They are saying it is because we moved back into orange. Under regular orange entertainment venues are closed. The updated orange is saying they can open but only have 50 people or less. Also non essential travel is not recommended in and out of any orange zone. Sports organizations are limited to practicing only. So there is a bunch of criteria here that would not let the Wildcats play.
