I see Seamus Campbell is committed to Quinnipiac next year? Could this be impacting his arrival?

No, he was committed before they added him to the camp roster I noticed he wasn't on the Times Transcript roster yesterday. It seemed odd considering the Euros and Fortier were on the list. So something might be up with him.

Why would he commit to the team or the wildcats commit to him if they don’t know when or if he can even get into Canada for this season.

I’m still wondering how Bathurst managed to get Frank Jenkins into Canada. He’s from Michigan. They must know about a loophole.

Without knowing any background, my guesses would be perhaps dual citizenship, or alternatively, Jenkins was already in Canada somehow and thus able to make his way to Bathurst. There are a few euros that either never left after last season, or were able to get in to attend pro camps over the summer, that I understand are currently with their teams and ready to play.

If he has family here, or if his family owns property in Canada, then he would be able to get into Canada, and would have to do 2 weeks isolation in Bathurst unless he was already in the bubble.

This is a defensive shit show... Element with three breakaway goals... did we even dress defensemen?? and it’s not even rookies, Spence was on for Elements breakaway. 4 min into second and CB has scored 3 goals

These games are so important. A huge divisional game and they’re playing like this?? Unacceptable.

In a pre-game interview, Lacroix said that Fortier was in quarentine, so he must be in Moncton.

Yes heaven for bid I hold them accountable in Sept like I would in April in the playoffs we likely won’t be in to post about... it’s a good thing that one of our final pre season games looking like pond hockey doesn’t concern you in the least.... I am not saying throwing the towel cancel the season but at the same time it’s a free for all out there and we are what a cut or two from our season roster?

Sheehan has to stop at least one of those three Element breakaways.

On another note, since we aren’t allowed to comment on anything negative, what was Tim Rozell talking about with Sherbrooke not being able to ice a full team and not allowed call ups something about Covid protocol and hen then proceeded to say wildcats were in a similar situation with Iasenza? Something Covid related?

Something Covid related? Hockey Quebec doesnt allow affiliate player callups during the current phase of their Return to Play protocol (likely to go to next phase soon), so Sherbrooke couldnt call anyone up and I guess they have a number of injuries right now.

I agree it’s our backup in, but our entire season is against these teams(Maritime division) and I would consider Cape Breton to be a team he likely gets a start or two against so definitely needs to be better. That being said you can’t give up 3 uncontested breakaway with veteran defencemen on the ice. The 5-6 pairing sure be some growing pains but not ok whether September or February for the vets on this thin team.
