The Dogs look for their first road win of the season tonight in Halifax. The Mooseheads are coming off a 5-0 shutout loss at home vs the Islanders last night, while the Seadogs had the night off due to the COVID situation in Moncton.

Well at least they salvaged a point but still disappointing. Sounds like he made a few big saves in regulation but so far I think Jones' best game as a Sea Dog came during the pre-season after spending 4 of the 5 previous weeks in isolation.

Our defensive game is terrible plus it seems that they never come prepared to play. They’re always playing catch up which isn’t good.

Watched the game tonight Innis was supposed to come in and solidify the D but he was just going through the motions in this one was expecting more from him. Also thought Creed Jones looked pretty laxy daisy In the shootout. Seems to have an I don’t care attitude about him maybe that was just tonight but I found his actions made it seem like it was a pre season game out there.

Once that happens this team should be hard to beat. Don’t think it’s really fair to say Creed Jones doesn’t care or has a bad attitude. And remember Inniss is coming off an injury. |

I agree with a lot of the negative comments but so far I'm impressed with Roy, Drover, Patenaude, and Drapeau.

Also, I wouldn't mind moving Poirier to a top 6 forward.

Drover has made great improvement. It's still very early and all the players in the league are still pretty sloppy and the 'dogs are way too young still. Can't depend on a bunch of 18 year olds to give experience and help out the new inexperienced 16, 17 year olds. The team got younger than what it was last season.
I agree the defence should be better and I'm not a fan of Creed Jones but next year is the year and it should be a good one!
They also will be highly depending on their imports too.

Well they went out and got a few 19 and 20 year olds to help support the 18 year old core. Inniss has looked decent when healthy but unless he can coach defense, he's not a game changer. The other veterans they acquired have been disappointing so far. Kotkov should help when he arrives but every other team will also improve when their imports arrive. In addition to his skill, hopefully he brings some leadership that this team needs. |

Hopefully Kotkov will show up soon and Jones can find his game. We cant have a 20 year old goalie with a 4.32 GAA and an 852 save %. Leonard is what he is. Not going to bring much offense.
Management has set to high of expectations on this group for this year.
We have 3 16 year olds 4 17 year olds and 8 18 year olds. That's not a recipe for success.
I am sure Reynolds and Macdonald will get alot better and start producing more as the season goes on.

Sadly beginning to wonder if some of these players are just poor defensive players. Way too many get beat 1 on 1. It is like most of them played thru minor hockey always having the puck and never cared about play without it. Now are they uncapable or unwilling to learn?
