Doesn’t look like he’s drafted, so I assume he’ll be back next year...sets us up for a two year window.
Hopefully Oliver is still with us past the deadline, I feel that kid has a bright future.

Charlottetown's got a really solid team for the next 3 years but I'd expect this to be the best season out of the three. If peach is added that solidifies a great trio of OA's in him, budgell, and laaoan next season. Can't wait to see what path islanders take in this trade period.
In little ways this team reminds of of Rouyn Noranda's two seasons ago but to a lower degree

Seeing lots of talk of the Islanders adding a top defence to at deadline I thought it would be Spence but everything I’m seeing has him going to the Armada. If we’re going after a top 3 D maybe Ortiz from Baie Conway or Regis from RN would be great. How about Massicotte from Rimouski. Anyways I really don’t see a need of acquiring a top D man but Jim has always made great
Moves so if he thinks we need a top D I’m behind it.

ISLANDERS ACQUIRE
BAILEY PEACH FROM PHOENIX
The Charlottetown Islanders made a splash on the first day of the QMJHL's holiday trading period, acquiring right winger Bailey Peach from the Sherbrooke Phoenix in exchange for a package of draft picks.
Peach (2001-03-08) is a 5'10 veteran from Falmouth, Nova Scotia who was originally selected 11th overall by the Phoenix in the 2017 QMJHL Draft. This season, in five games Peach has recorded two assists.
His career season came just last year, when the 19-year-old picked up 19 goals and 46 points in 52 games played. In his career, Peach has played 160 regular season games, recording 33 goals and 90 points in that time.
"The acquisition of Bailey Peach is a significant move for our hockey team," said Islanders head coach and general manager Jim Hulton. "Bailey adds a veteran presence to our group, along with a proven offensive pedigree. We are excited to add him to our group."
In exchange, the Islanders sent a 2021 3rd round pick, a 2021 7th round pick, a 2022 2nd round pick, and a 2023 2nd round pick.
The Islanders would like to welcome Bailey Peach to the organization, and look forward to him joining the team in the New Year!

Apparently the 2022 2nd is Sherbrookes that they were supposed to send us for Bernard because he played as a 20 so that’s a bonus. We still have some nice picks to add more if that’s what they want to do.

Find it very hard to get excited about any of this this year. I cannot even watch my son play hockey right now hard to care what the junior teams are doing
