Islanders 1st rounders this and next year, Sherbrookes 1st in 2023, and Titan 2nd for this year. All but the 2nd will likely be late in the round picks.
I'd say most of those are on their way out over the next year for their run to a title.

If the season gets canceled then TG won't look to bad but if the season continues with playoffs, then he didn't do the team any favors with trying to help this group get some playoff experience.
I won't even get started again on the 20 year old goalie carousel.
Unless Kotkov arrives then he didn't do anything to address adding a 3rd 20 year old. unless you include the 2 twenty year old goalies we currently have.
He didn't do anything to fix the mess on defense.
I do like adding Francis but if he goes pro next year then it's not a good move.
The Roy trade was a good return considering that he requested a trade. I assume most of these picks will be traded and not used to pick players.

Stole this is from the French board. I think this is updated, Here are the picks that it shows that we have. I don't see the 1st round pick from Halifax for the Safin trade though. I guess we still don't know what year that will be yet so it is another 1st rounder in 2021 or 2022.

Time will tell if it was a huge miss or not. If Kotkov does end up here I’d say not, or if the season gets busted.l same thing. But if neither of those two scenarios occur, then I’d say you may be right. |

Of course Roy's departure and depending on what is done with those picks, the cycle could be disrupted. I was starting to think 2 years from now is when this cycle would peak by they may be looking to go all in on next year now.

Will that change because of covid and extending trade period from jan 10 until jan 25th this year? who knows. After 10 FEB rosters are set. |
