Moncton doesn't have a 3rd. It was "secretly" part of the Rodrigue deal. as a clause? Moncton traded 2019 2nd, 2020 1st and 2021 2nd to Drummondville for Rodrigue. Drummondville returned the 2021 2nd to Moncton at 2020 Q Draft. Moncton traded the pick to BC as part as the futures deal with BC for Fortier. Moncton will send 2021 3rd to Drummondville. Final deal for Rodrigue, 2019 2nd, 2020 1st and 2021 3rd. |

Unless there is a player they love, I wouldn't be surprised if they traded back get more top 5 picks.

French article. Here are a few tidbits: - Wildcats have a list of 160 prospects for the draft. Zoom interviews start this week. - Ryan Hopkins has decided on NCAA. Wildcats have a compensation pick in the 2nd round. Possibly 23rd but no worse than 25th. - Team would like another 1st round pick but that will depend on trading Daoust. - Moncton will draft 13th in the Euro Draft. - Seven untouchables: Filion, Iasenza, Pilote, Loshing, Barbashev, Pavan and Daniel. |

Will be interesting to see who the goalie other than Filion is. Couture would be a 19 year old next season. I would prefer an 18 year old (2003 born) as the backup. |

Whoever is the other guy, I think it will more likely be a 50-50 split. Especially if the Q goes back to full schedule and travel. Anything more than 40 games for a 17 year old goalie is too much IMO. Plus no guarantee he takes the proverbial next step. He showed good promise this year, but he was more of a prospect than a finished product. |
