I’m not too sure many would buy 5’6” mattering when you two hand a guy in the head. I find it odd that everyone calls it a 2 hand slash to the head.....everyone except the officials and the league, that is. And that most Halifax fans can't see a spear....but the officials and the league did.  So Gravel didn’t take a stick to the head? Because the refs never miss a call... I see the spear or slash or whatever people want to call it. |

If it was as bad as everyone is making it out to be, don't you think that Beauragard would have been suspended? Especially since he's had a couple of suspensions already this year? Was it a slash....or was it a spear? The evidence is pretty clear, IMO. Yet, you still want to try to downplay it? What Beauragard did as soon as he got up was a slash. What Gravel did was a spear. How can you even argue that? |

Gravel was definitely in the wrong. Beauregard could have sucked it up and had a 5 on 3 pp but he chose not to.

Careful, that's a highly unpopular opinion among moose fans. Foolish of you to think that perhaps their player was in the wrong I don't think that it's an unpopular opinion among Moose fans at all. There were a few that didn't think it was a spear, but most seem to agree that Gravel was at fault. I won't paint a whole fanbase by the actions of a few. |
