Any video of the dust-up in the third period? Hopefully it pops up so HFX fans can realize that Gravel started it, not Beauregard. Old time hockey!

I didn't expect Boyd to be on the NHL radar. If he continues developing he could be a very effective Tom Wilson type player. Hopefully he plays a bit smarter though.

Beauregard did give Gravel a bit of a bump in the second. Nothing too major, Gravel made it look worse than it really was.

There is a clip of it all on the Moosehead's page. Beauregard intentionally high-sticked Gravel in the head, which should come with a heavy suspension. But yes, Gravel did initiate it all.

Beauregard "BUMPS" the goaltender in almost every game he plays. With the score 5-0 he knew what he was doing. Weasel!

If Beauregard gets suspended, Gravel should be as well Why should Gravel be suspended? The video shows that it wasn't a spear, it was two slashes across the lower body, the second of which was called. Beauregard is lucky that he did it to a player who has better protection than most because of the goalie mask.

If Beauregard gets suspended, Gravel should be as well If it is determined that Gravel did spear him then I agree. But it doesn't look like a spear to me ... hard to say. But either way, and intentional stick to the head should be a big suspension.

I watched it back on Eastlink and on the Q stream and Gravel gave Beauregard a shot between the legs pretty hard. The announcers all commented on it as well. The ref put his arm up immediately but Beauregard got up and came at Gravel and then obviously things went wild. There are a number of angles of it so I'm not sure how anyone could deny it happened. Not sure is that's considered "spearing" as I'm not sure on a lot of hockey terms still. I tried to upload the screen grab I took from the Q stream but I'm not very good with this kind of stuff. Here's a link to it though : imgur.com/92vXFqX
