So none of the Americans from the past two American drafts are coming, but Luke Santilli who was drafted in the normal draft in 2020 is coming.
Also kind of strange that Iasenza is reporting with rookies when he played half a season with Moncton last year.

No sign of Rozzi or Katz? Tough first 5 rounds of the 2020 draft Sets back the rebuild a bit. Will take another 2 years to compete for anything(2023-2024). Daoust, Desgroseillers, Labelle, Langlois and possibly Richard will need to be shopped at midseason. need to add 4-5 top notch young assets to the core. |

Blagden also coming to rookie camp now, i would assume it’s because it was his choice since he originally wasn’t

Moncton shows 41 at rookie camp and 18 at main camp+ rookies retained though?? Strange, if 35 is the limit then maybe they will hold some of the more veteran players (ex: Mueller, Iasenza, Darcy) out until they make the first cuts and then bring them in. |

I guess 35 is only for main camp, so by the 21st they will be down to 35 and keep 17 from rookie camp. |

I just watched bits and pieces but Darcy looked like a man among boys. Strange that he is playing ahead of guys like Santilli.

Anybody see the scrimmage? Thoughts? I watched a bit on youtube this morning. I agree that Darcy was the best player on the ice. #34 white...Bucaro always seemed to be around the puck. He looked like he skated pretty well for a big kid. Seemed like red had the puck most of what I saw. I noticed Mcphee quite a bit. That line seemed to control the puck every time they were on. |
