Anybody see the scrimmage? Thoughts? I watched a bit on youtube this morning. I agree that Darcy was the best player on the ice. #34 white...Bucaro always seemed to be around the puck. He looked like he skated pretty well for a big kid. Seemed like red had the puck most of what I saw. I noticed Mcphee quite a bit. That line seemed to control the puck every time they were on. I noticed Bucaro yesterday quite a bit but he is 2 years older than a lot of guys on the ice, he does bring a size and grinding game package and skates pretty well. I like McPhee's upside, good size, skating and skill combo, I could see him sticking or at least getting some games this year. His line with Mercier and Baillageron was dangerous every time out. |

I thought that they would have kept one of the younger goalies, but guess they wanted to only bring 4 to main camp (Fillion, Sheehan, DiMattia and Couture). No real surprises otherwise. Seems like all rookies picked from the 6th round on with the exception of Richards and Sarrasin were cut. Anyone seen Sarrasin? Kind of surprised he’s made main camp. Maybe one of the guys that slipped in the draft a bit because of not playing last year. |
