Does anyone know if there would be a way to pick up Logan Malioux he’s honestly exactly what the dogs need a big physical shut down RHD. He’s also known as good locker room guy. Obviously fans might not like what happened in Europe but none of the teammates would care. He would definitely help the team on Ice a lot. You said "none of his teammates would care". How would u know that? I think they should care. because they are teenagers that’s a normal thing teenagers do these days. I’m 21 years old and for that to happen wouldn’t be abnormal. Have I done it? Absolutely not nor do I condone it I think what he did is terrible but I think he is to young to ruin his life over. I don’t support cancel culture and I am a massive believer of 2nd chances. I know players on the sea dogs personally who have done Far worse.

The Sea Dogs issues as a team are well known and have been discussed at length. The issues are not because of any single player its the group as a whole. We have to many of the same type of player. Skilled guys that don't battle hard. We will not win with this group. If we add 3 or 4 guys without getting rid of some of the guys we have we will win a round or two but that's it. You can usually get away with having a couple of guys that don't battle hard but not as many as the Dogs have. And the only ones that don't realize this is Georgie and Stella. Can you imagine them even thinking about adding Dube to this group. WTF! I agree to an extent but I think you’re over blowing the situation. Francais for an example by no means is a strong defensive player but he still wins battles. The only player that I see that puts in zero effort is burns.

How are the Sea Dogs going to break up their assets for those deals?

The Sea Dogs tried some of the best goaltenders in the league in the last two years. Clearly they're not the problem but I guess SJ will also try one more time with Lapenna.
Sevigny would be a huge help on D that's for sure.

Just a heads up that the tweet above is already being picked apart by some experienced journalists. Some parts may be true, but sounds like the Frenette is not going to Gatineau, so just be cautious.

Lemieux this season has been at most inconsistent, at worst a flop.

Steve Turcotte:
Parmi les autres transactions qui seront annoncées dimanche, mentionnons que le vétéran défenseur Vincent Sévigny passera dans le camp des Sea Dogs de St-John, hôtes du prochain tournoi de la coupe Memorial.

Three years of shit coaching and in the case of the defense, no coaching, cannot be overcome by simply adding pieces from elsewhere. It’s going to take a lot of adding mixed with some subtracting and even then I think you run out of assets and trading partners before you can get it done. Hopefully for the next rebuild they make sure to pay for a good head coach with a full team of assistants right from the beginning so that the young “cornerstones” can actually learn, and develop.
