We dogs just got flat out effing scary.. acquiring Marshall Lessard, D’aoust l, Hertubuise, Couture Would have to think if they got Couture they are passing on Hurtubise. Otherwise they have 3 19 year old goalies all Q capable. They could be flipping one of them I suppose in another deal, but I doubt it. |

How much real journalism even goes on at this point for anything… it’s sad that the “news” and what’s reported on is mostly just tidbits of information being fed to “journalists” so as not to piss off the people who scratch your back. Very little. Social media changed the game and a lot of it in a very bad way. And what little investigative journalism is going on...is by outlets like Frank magazine who soil their own reputation reporting on local affairs of our 1% while also being somehow the only outlet in the entire region to actually still be talking about and looking into the murders in Portapique where our local media has essentially taken the RCMP at their word and moved on regardless of how many questionable holes are in the story. Portapique is a great example of what little journalism is going on here. That should be the absolute biggest story (within reason) still going on in this area but it’s done and over with basically. Like you said, Frank was the only one doing any sort of investigative journalism and there’s how many journalists in the area? It just shows the sad state of affairs we’re in and how accepting people are of what they’re told by those in power, despite the fact that they’re notoriously deceptive and not operating in the best interest of everyone. People want to be told what to do and everyday, you just see more and more of it. |

Hopefully this is a "moving on from Hurtubise" or a "we have another trade partner who wants a 19 year old goalie" thing though and not a "Patenaude's injury is too serious". Would suck for the kid after these years of trying to be our starter and not getting the job, then miss out on the Memorial Cup because of injury. |
