5th scorer on our team is Brabanec and he's over a PPG... 6th is Laaouaan if talking simply 5th and 6th forwards i agree we need to add one buit Drew Elliot does have 10 goals but i do agree thus why i named some players to target that might be more affordable I think Hulton is going all in, I see him adding a 2nd line guy like Langlois(just an example) and 3rd line guy who can kill penalties at the cost of 3 top 4-5 round picks or a pick plus B prospect. aside from the fact we don't have those picks i think you could be right Langlois would be an excellent addition.....

They have a 2nd(Sha) and 4th in 2022, 3rd 3rd(Sha) 4th in 2023, assuming they are not linked to other trades, 3 of those 5 picks(or two plus Ouellet) could get you a couple mid lineup forwards.

why don't you answer my question? who do we owe Chicoutimi a future for? I did answer above. There is a lot of speculation that you owe a future for Simoneau. There is constantly endless speculation once teams trade 1sts. Probably 75% of it is baseless from fans trying to correctly guess who might move and then all of a sudden 3 fans in another language miss some translation and for 6 months there's garbage speculation floating around. Is there anything at all pointing to that speculation having any merit?

I'd expect that the teams wanting to make moves by buying or selling will continue to do so. It's a very short deadline that is unlikely to be extended at this point of the season - IMO.
I expect that there will be a lot more safety nets in place though as far as future considerations to complete trades - where a 1st will become a 7th if the playoffs are not completed - or a player to be named at the draft doesn't go through and that sort of thing.
The GM's are too smart not to do that - and there's nothing in there to prevent them from adding those terms and conditions from what I understand.

The more ya think about it the more acquiring a top 6 euro may be the cheapest way to get a scorer.. I love Satny but does it make sense to have a back up import who will play maybe 10 more games this year when you could have a top 6 forward playing a crucial role?

Trading for a guy like Brassard to be backup then adding a top 6 Euro like Ansen, Kaslik or Ivan is definitely the path of least resistance.

Bathurst traded Hinkley to Drummondville and then picked up Tourigny from Blaineville. They are going for it.

Oh boy Tourigny is a great addition. Surprised we haven't seen a lot from Saint John, gotta think they are who scored Desnoyers

Bathurst D still isn’t as scary on paper as the Isles.. but time for Hulton to make a move for up front help.. any one notice Michkov wearing #17 tonight maybe that’s why we traded Oliver cuz we needed to free up the number haha.. obviously I’m joking but one can wish
